Wait OP...are you implying that you would rather have terrorists and criminals running free in our country? Are you daft? Are you worried that the DHS will stumble upon your illegal activities? If you don't do anything illegal, WTF is the problem here? I don't know about you, but I'd rather be safe then sorry.
