Voluntary suicide.

There can be no transfer, there can only be a copy (and no method has even been conceptualized in any practical way to date btw).
A copy that may have all your memories and insist it is really you.

But what happens to the original?
The biological you?

Is the machine going to suck your mind out of the flesh of your brain leaving behind empty matter?

Reminds me of an old star trek episode where one character mentions the theory that the matter transporter actually kills the user and creates a perfect copy at the other end with all the memories and traits of the original.

Heck it can be argued that every time you enter deep unconscious sleep the "you" that wakes up is just reconstructed from all the memories and traits of the "you" that went to sleep... but it is not the same "you".

Just read that Bradbury story about the android that thinks it really is the man it has covertly replaced, it's a common enough theme and a valid question that these singularity tards rarely acknowledge.

Before we start making grand predictions of transferring consciousness into machines maybe we should try to understand what consciousness actually is first... or even if it exists at all hmm?

My point here being, lofty promises of technological immortality by known nwo sympathizers are dubious at best, so be wary.

Don't forget, the Dalai Lama may wear beads and blankets... but he's still one of the global elite.
