Re: Behold... The Bridegroom Cometh!!!
A reading of Jesus's own words below end the debate about the rapture. It is AFTER the tribulation. Very clear. The rapture is at the end, and the "elect of God" are here during the tribulation.

Matthew Chapter 24

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time.

“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

The Elect are the 144,000 and not the church. The church isn't even mentioned during the tribulation period. Why? Because we are in Heaven!

If there wasn't an escape (rapture) Jesus wouldn't have told us to watch and pray this...

Luke 21:36
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

hf
 Quoting: Troubled Waters...

You will escape the wrath because the wrath is the destruction of the earth by fire, as in verse 33, it's at the end when Jesus returns at the last trump. Jesus doesn't come twice, only once. He comes at the end, takes His people away and destroys the earth.

But, we do not escape the tribulation. Jesus's own words in Luke 21 tell us that we will be here. He even gives instructions about don't worry what to say when hauled before authorities, don't follow the false christ, flee to the mountains,
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

Luke 21:
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Did you notice the word 'BEGIN' to come to pass?

 Quoting: Troubled Waters...

Right! When all these things START to happen, you know it's near.

It does not say "Before these things happen", it says "When these things start to happen".

That means we are going to be here to see them happen....lol

Re: Behold... The Bridegroom Cometh!!!
Any of you who claim you know anything regarding this because 'the lord has spoken to you', need to really think and be objective (as far as that is possible with a 3 dimensional brain).

So many people believe the lord has spoken to them, and they have been given different information. This is extremely simple to understand. They cannot all be correct. At best, a few can be correct.

How dare any of you dictate who will be 'taken', who will be 'saved', who needs to 'repent' and who does not; you know not of what you speak.

If you wish to leave, and be 'saved', then you wish to leave yourselves. You wish to escape the illusion of separation - but that is all it is, an illusion. There is nothing to leave, there is nowhere to go.

Anywhere you go will still be within your sphere of consciousness and that which must be addressed will remain. Christ is WITHIN you - his love is within you. Any desire is necessarily a desire to BE something DIFFERENT to what you are NOW.

What you are NOW is divine - no matter who you are.

Take a step back and realise how fervent many of you have become with regards to dates, names, separation, destinations.

What are you forgetting?

NOW.

The present moment. The moment is where you can find God, at all times. The infinite now is now and it is here, whilst you wait to be saved you ignore and miss the magnificence of existence that you have been blessed with.

First of all, the Muslims are not my brothers and sisters. My brothers and sisters are in Christ Jesus. We are told to love our enemies, thats true, but would I lay down my life for my enemy? Honest answer- probally not.

 Quoting: Troubled Waters...

You're right, muslims are not our "brothers and sisters". Other Christians and the Messianic Jewish people are our brothers and sisters.

Everyone else is our "neighbor".

Big difference between a brother and a neighbor.

Oh? Well what was Jesus talking about with that whole

Love thy neighbour as thyself

business?
 Quoting: ANHEDONIC

Absolutely, we are commanded to love our neighbor. No doubt about it.

I was clarifying the difference between a neighbor and a brother. There is a big difference.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

We should try our best to love them both though right?
(saying that as a non-christian as you know)

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;

Re: Behold... The Bridegroom Cometh!!!
No witness?
No Guidance from The Holy Spirit when you post?

Reading The Scripture and rationalizing from your expectations or repeating what others have so also put forth means nothing...

The real guts to The Discourse is that all Christians except "the very elect" will suffer deception (at minimum) in these Final Days. Not possible to deceive "the very elect" since God Dwells Within.

Never gave your life Unto The Father?
Never made your surrender Unto HIM, Trusting Father God Fully and Completely with every aspect of your life?

What awaits you is heartbreak...

From Matthew ch 7:(again)...
21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

"But He That Doeth THE WILL Of MY Father Which IS In Heaven"...
Only One Way to Come Into HIS Accord...
"No Man Cometh Unto The Father But BY ME" John 14:6

Never given it all w/o reservation Unto The Father?
Then Christ Jesus Knows you not...
You may believe and have faith that God Knows your heart.
HE Does, but "faith w/o works is dead"! You must manifest your heart Unto The Father if you would be HIS and Abide In-HIM.

See John ch 17. The whole chapter is Jesus' Witness to HIS Remnant. Father God Entrusted HIS People Unto Christ Jesus, and Jesus Returns Them Unto The Father... Abiding In-HIM With Christ Jesus, Preserved against all evil...

You either Know and Live this life or you are alienated from HIM...

No Ezekiel 36 witness from any of you???
26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

No other way to Live In HIS Accord...

St. John Witnesses this in 1st John 2:20-27
"But you have an Unction From The Holy One and Know all things"... You need no man to teach you...

All the conjecture and mouth running is just wasting the few moments you have remaining. If you have never told God how Fully you Love & Trust HIM; NOW IS The Time!

If you Know WHO Christ Jesus IS and Love HIM with a True heart, I urge you to take action; put your faith to work by Trusting God Fully and seeking HIS Will for your remaining days.

If you aren't able to Take Action based on Love & Trust you Know and Feel for Father God; then truly you will be on your own...

Why would you make fun of what I said? Everything I said is the truth.

I haven't spent all day on this thread, I've only posted a few times........which is probably the equivalent of about 15 minutes.

And, I do believe in the rapture......just not till the 7th trumpet cause that's what Jesus said in the Bible, and also to me personally.

Paul also said it in 1 Corinthians.

Here it is, in black and white.........read it.

I Cor. 15:50-52: “I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”

Could he have been referring to the last trumpet (number 100) at the end of the Feast of trumpets? I think so. Why else would Paul say to comfort one another with these words? I don't thing he would have said that if he was telling the church at Cor's that they would have to endure the Tribulation. What comfort would that be?

lol......that's why he said it was a "secret" because it hadn't been revealed yet.

The 7th trump IS the last trump. Read the entire chapter and you will see.

You need to do some serious studying friend.....but with new "eyes".........I"m telling you the truth.

It's a comfort knowing that we will not experience the wrath of God and the total destruction of the world, that we will be changed and taken out before the world is destroyed by fire. That is what is promised to us. We are not promised escape from persecution and tribulation.

The earlier saints weren't, and neither are we. Endure to the end........then you will be saved.

Yes, there is a falling away, when the antichrist and the false prophet arrive on the scene. They will deceive most people by their lying signs and wonders. Then they will bring out the mark of the beast and kill people.

Most will either fall for the lies or take the mark to preserve their lives. The majority will go along with the antichrist........most that call themselves christians will also fall away and take the mark or believe the lying signs and wonders.

Are you guys reading the same Bible I'm reading?

peace
