I'd be praying hard this day if i lived on the west coast.. A 5.7 earthquake would at first seem like it's normal but it will bring a larger one and then the BIG ONE... I have a bad feeling about this weekend.. hope i'm wrong people. Stay safe..

Why be fearful? Let it happen. We need it. However, not tonight or tomorrow as I am out of wine. Sunday will be a good day. For crying out loug they are just earthquakes. More people die every year from car accidents OR disease OR heinous crimes OR etc. I have been through 2 big ones. You ride it out from where you are or if need be you GTFO to a safer spot. I hope we have the big one. Would it be a good thing if Nancy was home when it happened and something fell on her head and killed her? Good things can happen from disasters.

i've been here for 40+ years,
we have an eq almost every hour, on the hour+or-, at least
a 1.0....
the stillness is a little unsettling.
i feel a little uneasy tonight.
nobody even considers a 1.4 an eq at all.
there were 4.5,4.3,4.0, and several aftershocks
in northern cal today.
i dont know what happened in mexico becacause usgs doesnt care what happens to our neighbors in the south, even though it effects us up here.
if anyone has any info, please let us know.

there has been alot of activity at mt. st. helens in wa.
but usgs wont let us know.
there was a volcanic alert down near the salton sea,
but only for locals...anyone know whats going on?

Theres only been 5 -6 world wide in the last hour, yes i agree unsettling the overall calm of the EQ zones.
