I am a drug attorney, and could have told u 7 years ago that the DEA were one of the biggest contributors to the drug trade. To add to this article, have also seen the ATF extensively involved, including selling my clients firearms, to which they never would have had access to but for the ATF. Then they charge them with it. "You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man's freedom" Clarence Darrow |

Shellbe User ID: 22026188 United States 09/21/2012 10:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Does all this somehow connect with private companies running the prison system? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1170214 there are numerous issues with private companies running the prison system, dont get me started on this. even in states where they are run by the state, private companies still profit significantly in the prison system, from everything from the phone system, to canteen, to health care. but yes, i think this could have something to do with the privatizing of prisons. the more people incarcerated, the more money. The U.S. already has more people incarcerated than any other country in the world. "You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man's freedom" Clarence Darrow |

That’s 23% of the world’s population. The U.S. as a country makes up only 4.5% of the world’s population. It costs over $40,000,000,000 a year to run the U.S. prison system. The U.S. finances over 4,500 prosecutable “crimes” on a Federal level. Every 743 out of 100,000 people in the U.S. are in prison. The 1.6 million people in U.S. prison are post-trail. The number that includes accused, & convicted, & awaiting trail jumps to a whopping 9.8 million. THIS IS A DISGRACE!! |

Spirituality is a direct connection to Creator The Most high. Anyone who inflicts pain on others will suffer themself from that pain. Anonymous Coward User ID: 9968554 United States 09/22/2012 02:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I could never understand how Noriega was arrested and put in a U.S. prison under our laws. He was the President of Panama. How is it legal for the U.S. to arrest the President of another country? Our laws are not their laws. for years I wondered about this. Then I was watching the move "Blow" and Johnny Depp's character who is the drug dealer goes to the bank in Panama to withdraw his money and they tell him he has none because the President has seized all the accounts. Wow, light bulb. Noriega seized all the drug money not just Depp's character's money. so the CIA's money was on hold too. why the fuck do you all think we went in there, on the taxpayers dime no less, to get the money. |
