Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23873495 I really don't know how Americanos are going to fight this mentality, and for how looong?? I don't know how they have managed it this long. Apparently the American leadership is dead from the neck up, and must have been stoned in the classrom when they covered the British and Soviet Afghan expeditions in school. It is amazing how the quality of our leadership has gone to hell. |

It is amazing how the quality of our leadership has gone to hell. American generals and the officer and NCO corps in general are anti intellectual. There is a section in David Hackworths book About Face where he talks about the books in the JFKSWCS library just prior to the US involvement in Vietnam. The section of books dealing with Vietnamese history and the French involvement were dusty, unread, never checked out. Last Edited by s. d. butler on 09/16/2012 03:02 PM |

This apparently lulled the base security into not considering them a threat. They also used explosives to breach the fence. [link to www.telegraph.co.uk] Some are questioning whether Prince Harry's presence is increasing the risk to others at the base, but it doesn't look like he's leaving. |

Where did they get those? can be bought in every military shop... True..but I also remember about a year ago a small newspaper article about a truck filled with military and police uniforms along with ID badges being stolen in the US. I just searched for it but can't find it. Still thought it was important to share as a heads up that this could happen in the states. Stay safe everyone...no matter what country you are in. |

The smart money is on the obama/soros/socialists. Are we sure they were Taliban? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13076957 Wearing US uniforms, no lost lives? Just aircraft and hanger damage. Hmmm, I was wondering about that too. What with all the other nonsense that is going on around the world, somebody somewhere with a vested interest in taking out certain Moslem nations is clearly trying to get us all wound up to do something really silly...and probably terminal. Time for reasoned thinking and some unaccustomed, altruistic leadership skills from our politicians, perhaps. Yeah, right! Still, nothing is going to happen...the GLP effect will sort it! |

After ten years plus of war they've got every kind of U.S. equipment and uniforms that they can use. Last Edited by s. d. butler on 09/16/2012 03:35 PM |

Where did they get those? Their Handlers? Could be... or missing American soldiers we don't know about... But their access to US uniforms opens really dangerous and dubious attack perspective. That isn't so difficult as you think. They may have robbed them on previous attacks to American bases. There were several. |
