This particular quatrain is referring actually to the Gaelic Samhain when the Pleiades (seven stars) is in opposition to the Sun, so perhaps around Halloween of 2013, Germany will annex Ireland and Greece. It will also become the ruler of Italy; it follows then that The Vatican city state is a de facto German territory, hence the pontif changing countries. If people put their engineering skills to use it could go into a lot more than methods to kill and starve and steal from people. Populations could be controlled humanely through legal process instead of by insane elites creating Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death.
