ayahuasca retreats in the U.S.
Is there a Santo Daime Church in Texas? Are there ever ayahuasca retreats held legally in the U.S.?

none legally.

sorry, mate.

choose wisely if you go to south america - lots of gringo traps.

but the good news is if madre ayahuasca is calling your name, you will undoubtedly find your self with her. let it unfold.

Blue Morpho in Iquitos Peru is a safe, legit and well run place with honest and sincere people, it is not cheap though. I have been twice and was very satisfied. Only true spiritual seekers should attempt this experience as it is hard work and not a joy ride.

Yes there are legal circles that you can sit with in the United States. I sit with one regularly in Colorado.

So you actually have to pay money to receive the same high level demons that the banksters consort with? Wow what a deal, ... NOT!

Mind altering drugs are doorways to demons. The word for witchcraft in the New Testament is related to our word for drug store. That's because mind altering drugs are a mainstay of witchcraft.

The devils love a compliant, broken mental landscape for easy entry. After that you can guarantee an eventual trip to eternal torment unless you repent and turn to Jesus.

I know what I'm talking about because I've gone down this path and paid a heavy price to cleanse myself of it's negative influence. I lived in a place famous for it's many drug overdoses and deaths. I've seen the demons.

Stay away if you know whats good for you.

Re: ayahuasca retreats in the U.S.
I really don't understand what is the interest in this. I'm sure that for some this has worked to heal. But I have a dear friend that is doing a retreat this weekend here in Albuquerque for $500. She has done the plant medicine over 30 times and I don't see that she has healed her heart. She is still very critical, angry, so what, she is a little spiritually enlightened. I think if you need to have your bills paid, need teeth pulled because you have abscesses maybe you should lay off the DMT. I think it's all about the HIGH, not organic if you have to mix other ingredients. I'm more into natural DMT the sun! hf

Hi folks, I'm really not here to debate the use of Aya. Personally it has transformed my life and I understand it's magnificent role in humanity. It's not for everyone and I don't really care to try and to convince people who don't understand. The Madre called me and it's now a part of my life as I move toward an existence more in harmony with truth, nature and the whole of consciousness.
I'm reaching out to "the Coward in Colorado" to see if I can become acquainted with you folks having circles here? Let me know how to reach you or you can reach me somehow? I'd like to drink this summer without flying back to South America....
Thanks!

Re: ayahuasca retreats in the U.S.
I'm going to the Yucatan area in Mexico this June to work remotely/live/take an extended vaca... Is anyone aware of a place in Mexico where they do the ceremonies?? Thanks in advance..

OP, personally, I'd look for information about ayahuasca experiences and search for places from there.. For example, a source from a blog is likely just informational internet marketing, whereas a documentary about ayahuasca may lead you to a more authentic source where it is more ceremonial and less of a business.. Once you find those sources, you'll find people who practice it locally.. However, I'd prefer to do it with a real Shaman as the spiritual guide instead of some american hippie who knows nothing about the culture or essence of it....

Taking ayahuasca is not addictive and its not a pleasant experience.

You'll throw your intestines out while having a deeply spiritual experience. Usually somebody takes care of you all night other than the "chaman" who's there to administer the beverage and guide you from the darkness to the light.

There are addiction trestment centers that work with ayahuasca with great success. They completely cure cocaine drug addictions in less than a month.

As far as I know, there's only been one tourist death from Ayahuasca, but he didn't go to a reputable "chaman".

It's possible that if I have an opportunity I would try it.
No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; ... any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind...

so sad is right. the reason the world is in so much turmoil right now is because people like you refuse to open their minds to new possibilities. Humans have been using entheogens ever since the beginning and they are largely responsible for the creation of language itself. Without plant teachers, RELIGION WOULD NOT EXIST.

I agree. Sad and misinformed. There are also ways to get high level DMT in your body but it is dangerous. Some die even with physicians present. The body has all kinds of defenses against DMT except at the time of death and to some degree during natural pregnancies. The biggest advances in this area have been made by the United States Veterans Administration in New Mexico. There were very rare funded studies done by one of the most important American psychiatrists, Dr. Rick Strassman.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

In his main DMT book, The Spirit Molecule, Dr. Srassman says that he did everything not to agree with the finding of Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack, (now deceased). However in the end he had to agree. There are other reality systems and drugs, properly used, are one main way of accessing them.

With this we have entered another age. In every age, such as the Age of Sail or Industrial Age, we take the major casualties at the beginning. For every Mayflower that made its way to the New World there were 400 that did not.

Same here. Same with the overall drug issue. We have touched some new land. We are still at early Pilgrim stage. Even Danial Boone type stuff is way in our future.

Re: ayahuasca retreats in the U.S.
Psilocybin is the answer in the U.S. Lots of good information on the net on how to grow shrooms. PF TEK is the easiest. They are called Magic Mushrooms for a reason. Learn more about yourself and the world in a few trips than most people do in their entire lifetime.

To die without having tried psilocybin is a true tragedy.

Oh, yeah, God made them and weed so my conclusion is that the government has successfully brainwashed the masses into believing that they are evil. You will find that mushrooms actually cause an awakening of the soul and increased awareness of the consequences of our actions, EXACTLY what religion is all about. I still believe in Jesus.

Magic mushrooms cured me of alcoholism. Lots of documentation of hallucinogens curing alcoholism.

Lots of great reasons to try them. Do the research.

Re: ayahuasca retreats in the U.S.
I just went down to Peru in February and stayed for 2 weeks at Nihue Rao outside of Iquitos. The center and staff were incredible - I went down to Peru JUST for this retreat so I was quite scared before arriving, hoping not to get scammed and whatnot. However, I can say it was worth every penny and was one of the cheapest I found ($70/day)

It was an incredible experience and one I would like to do again. I met many people that go back on a regular basis to receive an annual "cleaning" - physically, emotionally, etc

I would definitely recommend going down to the Amazon to do it. Being in the rainforest for an extended period of time is part of the overall healing experience. Best of luck to you!
