Lets see, I'm watching Football right now...

...while browsing this site.

It's not taking anything away from me being informed or caring about anything.

Football is fun to watch, and can create a TEMPORARY distraction. Anything, can be fine to watch... in moderation. As long as you're not so obsessed with something, that you forget about everything else going on.

Reality TV, I find to be garbage... because most of it, isn't "real" at all. But, even reality TV would be ok in small doses, depending on what we're talking about. The shows where they build houses for people, and actual help people in some manner... I'm ok with those shows. The shows like the Kardashians and things along those lines... yeah, those could be shit canned and I'd be just fine with that.

But, it's not the programming that's bad... it's the people who choose to be so wrapped up in them...that they don't care about anything else.

I watch plenty of TV shows, and they don't distract from me caring, or knowing, about what is going on in the world.
