Lets see, I'm watching Football right now...

It's not taking anything away from me being informed or caring about anything.

Football is fun to watch, and can create a TEMPORARY distraction. Anything, can be fine to watch... in moderation. As long as you're not so obsessed with something, that you forget about everything else going on.

Reality TV, I find to be garbage... because most of it, isn't "real" at all. But, even reality TV would be ok in small doses, depending on what we're talking about. The shows where they build houses for people, and actual help people in some manner... I'm ok with those shows. The shows like the Kardashians and things along those lines... yeah, those could be shit canned and I'd be just fine with that.

But, it's not the programming that's bad... it's the people who choose to be so wrapped up in them...that they don't care about anything else.

I watch plenty of TV shows, and they don't distract from me caring, or knowing, about what is going on in the world.

So you like your mind to be rotted watching useless sporting activities done by people who are paid millions while the rest of the country struggles instead of making a difference in people's lives with your time?

Gotcha, what a great thing to do in these times.

And what kind of great change are you making in people's lives while sitting on GLP and ridiculing those that like things you don't?

In case you didn't read the disclaimer on this site - it's strictly for entertainment purposes...just like the NFL. So many would think you're wasting time too.

Why should either be bad if they entertain? Constant doom is NOT required and in fact leads to sloppiness and the need to feel more important than everybody that doesn't do what you do or think. It can lead to what is called ARROGANCE or a HITLER like attitude (both conditions you seem to have).

Get out and do something entertaining you don't like football then go for a walk because if whether or not reality TV or football is bad and for you the debate of said is critical then you need more entertainment!

Plenty, discussing issues and making change in the lives of other. Enjoy your silly football, I hope you like watching 16-20 weeks of millionaires running on a 120 yards field back and forth while the rest of the country suffers and goes through the evil deeds of the NWO.

Some people like watching men run around in tight pants hitting each other. Those that do are pretty obvious.

And some guys will never leave moms basement. Tell mom to get you another hot pocket!

To tell you the truth, reality t.v. has inspired me to do more than glp ever has.

Football gives me the "underdog can win" motivation. Plus a lot of the players donate their time and money to good causes.

GLP has a lot of doom, and finger pointing. (I try to stick to the spiritual stuff.)

Does that mean I think it's terrible, or a distraction, no. I like a little of all of it. Obsession is bad, no matter what it is.

Entertainment does have a value, we all need a break at times.

What are some of the things that you do to make this world a better place, because you aren't wasting your time watching reality t.v. or football?
