Even though she was spotted briefly wearing short kitten heels on one occasion since her operation, these black superhigh platforms; which measure at least six inches high and feature killer spiked heels; are definitely more symbolic of her usual outrageous signature style. Also, perhaps a sign that Lady G is finally ready to be back where she belongs; on stage!

Case in point? The sassy songstress made her first post-surgery performance at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York last week, performing "Someone to Watch Over Me" with Jazz trumpeter Brian Newman. We're so happy to see her back on "The Edge of Glory"!

I was watching TV last night and saw two separate commercials...one for the Toyota Camry and another for Loews home decor.

What stood out in both commercials were chameleon lizards!







I found it very strange at first but then I thought of the singer Boy George and his 1983 hit song Karma Chameleon.





Suddenly I remembered I saw a trailer a few weeks ago for the Robert Rodriquez film called Machete Kills.

Lady Gaga will make her acting debut in this film as La Chameleon to be released on October 4th...(see poster below) !!

Vanity Fair's July 1997 issue was Princess Diana's last magazine cover before she died, which looks very much like the September 2013 cover.

The portrait was taken from the same photo shoot by Mario Testino that year.
