The Bible says on the 1st day of the seventh month(Tishri) is when the Feast is. And since days begin in the evenings biblically, that would mean the Feast begun on Sunday evening and will finish Monday evening. Correct? I see some people saying it finishes on Tuesday. Please help because I am very confused. Thank you :) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5250852 Hello Friend, Rosh Hashanah lasts one day, But you count at Sundown. Like for Israel. its already the next day and they will eat their Apples dipped in honey, and the Challah. They dont consider right now to be Sunday. So this is where the confusion is, To them it is a Monday, cause Monday for them began at Sundown. Rosh Hashanah cannot be on Sunday or Wenesday or Friday. So for our American Calendars, it might say that its actually tomorrow. |
