And this, my friends, is why I make my own pet food. I know exactly what is in it, no preservatives, no additives and certainly no killer ingredients.

They cut corners any way they can and do not care.

Thats why I make / bake / cook just about everything at home from scratch. Better for you , tastes better and keeps the family closer together.

the only purchased "dog" food I give my dog is Milkbones. As far as I know, they are still made in America.

This has been going on for years now

these people go out back of the restaurant and pick their dog out for dinner. Dogs are tortured or beaten first because they believe it makes the meat taste better. Saw a whole documentary on it, unfortunately for me.

Combine this with what they do to their people. I will NEVER understand why American businessmen went along with going over there for cheap labor. Oh, they were forced out, that's the excuse. Well STAY HERE AND FIGHT TO CHANGE THE DAMN LAWS! Traitors.

It's not old if it was YOU'RE dog who was one of the 350 who died in the last 18 months. There has also been and uptick and no one is doing anything about it. That does not make it an old story.

It is hard to find dog treats that are not made in china and most people don't even know where they are made, or care. I do, and check origin carefully.

What about all the old people that used to be eating Alpo? Are they dying by eating Chinese animal food?

Workers at one abortion mill (State run of course) were caught serving a soup weekly made of aborted fetuses that they collected over the week, refrigerated, and then put into this "soup" that they served their co-workers and friends every Friday!

These people are not human! I cannot imagine a human being could do such a thing even if not eating would mean starvation. Better to die than to consume such a travesty of murdered babies flesh!

But it did make the news. The were warned that it was not "appropriate" and the government did nothing else. I have been to Communist China several times in the course of my career and I will tell you that I loathe and despise the country. The Chinese Nationals I had to deal with were several steps above the average in terms of money, education, earning power, social strata, etc. And they were still - to a man or woman - complete idiots when they had to do or discuss anything outside their narrowly defined field of training and education. Most of them would pick their nose in public, eat the results of their nasal explorations and then eat without washing their hands after such an exploration into their own nose. Their table manners (even allowing for cultural differences) were horrid! They could make you quite ill if you watched any of them eating.

The other thing I noticed is that as a people they have very little compassion or feeling for the needs or rights of anyone other than themselves. It seems to be a national level problem, also. Even Chinese mothers are now cold and distant toward their babies and they're raising a generation of psychotics who have no empathy or compassion for anyone!

As far as the one comment about this story "being old" the FDA released it 3 days ago. This is a current warning.

Also, if you look at the graph on the FDA chart you'll see that imports of pet food from China have grown eighty five fold which is another reason why this is bears more scrutiny presently. Did you look at the graph?

Upon reading the report, I thought it was interesting that after the FDA visited China in June 2012, they contacted NASA in order to work on ways to test for IRRADIATION byproducts in addition to what they're currently testing for.


The FDA is now expanding its testing to include irradiation byproducts and is consulting with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) experts to discuss this possibility further.

AGAIN? WTF?

That may work for someone who doesn't work 60 hours a week, but for the rest of us, we have to rely on our gov't/state/city oversite commitees. Obviously, they are NOT doing their jobs. Why in the HELL do I have a third of my paycheck taken away every week if they can't even monitor the friggin dog food!
