If you talking about whole refugees who escaped from Syria ; it has reached 250.000 around the world.

According to U.N officals refugee number in Turkey is 78.500. Some Turkish officals say it has reached up to 85.000.

But as you said there are rumors it is more than 120.000 in Hatay camps + rented houses..

Hello my dear friend IFUN :)

it becomes more complicated ;

locals vs radical that came
locals vs agents
locals vs govt.
may become as local(sunni) vs local (alawaite or christians)

we will be of course next if not now,maybe after Iran..

Missed your threads mate, always good info!
I think Turkish govt sacrificed the region already with her actions imo, coz it's already a very secular region and a sectarian conflict would always cause problems. Read recently that banks don't even give loans anymore in Hatay coz they consider the region and the loans of high risk. Erdogan is pushing too much the religious/Sunni agenda, forgetting that Turkey is a very secular state too no matter how hard they try to hide it, this could backfire very easily, religion was always TPTB favorite excuse for their divide and conquer strategy. Dempsey visit is critical for the Syria issue.
