Caffeine addiction. Who else?
I used to be addicted to tea, with three sugars. But as we are moving into harder, rough times, i have moved onto harder drugs. Coffee.

I was I haven't had any since my second kidney stone on April 7th of this year. Very painful but the pain meds also helped me kick the caffeine addiction. My drink of choice was Throwback Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper. I have also lost 25 lbs since kicking the habit.

If caffeine was outlawed tomorrow, civilization would cease to exist.

There's a reason British "tea" was taken at the time of day when human blood sugar is lowest and energy levels fall off.

Yes, but the good thing is that since quitting cigarettes I'm down to approximately 5 cups of coffee a day from my usual 10-15.

I've had a total of 12 hours sleep in the last 8 days, traveled nearly 4,000 miles as well and have made time for reading and writing here...

None of that would have been possible without caffeine.

Yeah, I'm addicted.

Try eating very dark real chocolate with strong coffee, the combination can keep you going for days...

Energy drinks do not compare to the above.

Oh ya, seriously addicted. If I don't have a coffee by a certain time in the morning, I get a nasty headache that even aspirin won't take away.

I quit a couple months ago. I was drinking 8 cups a day.
I love the taste/smell.
But I think it fucked up my nerves, feel damaged.

Re: Caffeine addiction. Who else?
Yeah here too. I can't really imagine starting the day without it. I drink about 15 cups a day on a work day, about 6 before leaving home, then all day long. Been doing that for years. I need to switch to green tea.

I feel really weird when I try to abstain.. dull.. flat. My doctor just told me to quit or cut back to no more than 2 cups a day because my blood pressure is becoming difficult to manage. Had to switch meds for that. It's brewing right now and ... ahh. I gotta have that java.
