The ambassador of the USA in Libya used to live in the US EMBASSY in the capital city, Tripoli.

The ambassador DIDN'T live in the CONSULATE in the city of Benghazi.

Why ambassador Christopher Stevens was sent to death in Benghazi? Why he was in the Beghazi CONSULATE, instead of the embassy in TRIPOLI?

The embassy of the United States in Libya is located in Walie Al-Ahed road in the Sidi Slim area, Tripoli.

Accidental Death of Libyan at US Embassy in Tripoli

09/08/2012 17:51:00

By Hind Turki

In an unfortunate fatal accident on Tuesday, a Libyan guard was reportedly crushed to death by the entrance gate of the US embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. The incident occurred when the gate lethally dislodged from its pathway and fell on the guard.

The embassy, which is located in Walie Al-Ahed road in the Sidi Slim area, has a large, heavy gate that bars the entrance and is manned by guards for security measures.

The gate is intended to be controlled mechanically, however due to damages allegedly sustained by the mechanism, the gate has to be manually opened and shut by the security guards throughout the day.

Incredible, don't you think?

By "coincidence", ambassador Christopher Stevens traveled from the embassy in Tripoli, to the consulate in Benghazi, EXACTLY IN THAT DAY...

Benghazi was considered perfectly safe, since it was the major city most hostile to Ghaddafi and most friendly to the US.

The civil war ended ONE YEAR AGO.

The sources quoted by the media this past week say that ambassador Christopher Stevens was "often seen in the cafes of Tripoli".

I'm pretty sure he lived in the embassy in Tripoli, not in the consulae in Beghazi.

1. Beghazi was a temporary outpost or mission, not a consulate.
2. Stevens went there often.
3. This is NOT uncommon.

How do I know?

Yeah, the embassy in Tripoli was more secure but the city of Benghazi was friendlier. Get it??

Christopher Stevens LIVED IN TRIPOLI, no matter how much you say that "Benghazi was friendlier".

Yes, he lived in Tripoli. So what?

He also performed diplomatic duties all over the country INCLUDING Benghazi.

He made his own schedule for the most part.

Hence he was not "sent to his death"
The embassy WAS aware of the threats.
He chose to go anyway.

He went to Benghazi occasionally.

By "coincidence", he was sent to Benghazi on September 11th.

And was there in the moment of the attack...
