The 4th empire of Dn 7 has been the Roman Empire since this followed Greece. We are given the first three: Babylon, Medes & Persians, Greek. Rome's empire followed thus is the fourth and final empire found in Dn 2. There are only four empires. This has been understood for 2000 years.

Read it again since the "beast" is a kingdom (Dn7:23) 7:23 "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth," understanding this was the 1260 holy roman empire, then what has been the image of the beast?

The 1260 year HRE was the 7th head!!!!!.

It was replaced by Rome's NWO -- the beast from the earth, then found in Rev 17 as the 8th head "which comes from the seventh".

Thus the NWO is the image of the HRE.

Rev 17 has the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. We are told the "horns" are kings (Rv.17:12, Dn.7:24). Kings rule over nations.

Notice the kings in chapter 17 have no crowns as previous horns in chapter 13 did. This is because chapter 17 ten nations are republics of the NWO, not monarchies of the HRE.

Rome's NWO began following the French Revolution and those 42 months, 1798. In 1798 Rome's NWO had two nations: France & USA (Rev 13:11). By chapter 17 the NWO has ten republics. This was following the Revolutions of 1848 across Europe.

Then Babylon "fell" in 1870, no longer needed, having been replaced by the NWO. (also this declaration is on the US dollar in Latin and Roman numerals, 1776 - the first NWO republic.)

Yes but there is so much more about the whore in the Bible that narrows down it's possible fulfillment.

The whore sits on seven hills. Rome is on seven hills.

The whore is drunk with the blood of the saints (christians). The Roman catholic church has probably killed more christians than any other hate group. Just read Foxe's book of Martyrs as a start.

The whore of Babylon is a haunt for demons. If you've ever read any of deceased catholic priests Martin Malachi's book you would know that satanism is openly practiced in the Vatican, as well as blood sacrifice. Moreover the vatican sits on a vast treasure that she uses to influence people and nations.

I think the shoe fits quite well. The vatican is the whore of babylon. I believe the Roman catholic church will start off promoting the antichrist religion in the last days, but the antichrist himself will destroy her, as a favor to God.

The red phrase refers to Isaiah 11:

he will be inspired by fearing Adonai.
He will not judge by what his eyes see

what I was looking at, was the timing of these things. It seems that culmination of events occurs at once one major event occurs:

Daniel 12:1 - When that time comes, Mikha’el, the great prince who champions your people, will stand up; and there will be a time of distress unparalleled between the time they became a nation and that moment. At that time, your people will be delivered, everyone whose name is found written in the book. 2 Many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth will awaken, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting shame and abhorrence. 3 But those who can discern will shine like the brightness of heaven’s dome, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

These are the people who "flee to the mountains" ... These are the ones spoken of here in Micah: “I will assemble all of you, Ya‘akov; I will gather the remnant of Isra’el, I will put them together like sheep in a pen, like a herd in its pasture — it will hum with the sounds of people.”

And here, in Jeremiah: Jer (YirmeYahu) 23:3-8: “Therefore I shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them, and shall bring them back to their fold. And they shall bear and increase.

And I shall raise up shepherds over them, and they shall feed them. And they shall fear no more, nor be discouraged, nor shall they be lacking, declares Yahuah.

The judgment of the the regathering of His people, (Israel and those gentiles grafted into Israel, the waking of the dead to glory or shame, and the transitioning of those who are alive while this happens, all happen pretty much at the same time, and it does appear that Michael, the principality of His elect, is the restrainer of the revealing of the man of sin. However, I would say, not in his own timing, but the timing of the Most High. And, it looks to me (still) that the timing of all of this is just prior to the events fulfilled in the 7th seal.

that is not what the scripture reads.

the word lawlessness means "sin", not "avoids/rejects Torah"

Actually, it does. The Torah IS the "law", although I admit there are MANY different LAWS and not ALL of them are Torah.

the scripture does not read that way. the scripture talks about the man of lawlessness which is not the Torah in this context.

It is unfortunate that AHYH's loving instructions have been translated and its meaning confused over the centuries to be understood as "law" and usually those laws supposedly given to Moshe on Mt. Sinai. those laws, being burdensome and unable to be kept.

But that is not what Torah is. And I happen to believe that Paul knew what torah really was when he penned the words that we discuss.

The Hebrew word "Torah" is usually translated into the English word "Law". Because of this translation there is a great misunderstanding of what "Torah" truly is. "TORAH IS NOT LAW". When we use the word "law" we assume a certain meaning and concept of the word that is not present in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Let us start by looking at the Etymology of the Hebrew word Torah so that we may better understand its true definition. The word Torah comes from the Hebrew root word "Yarah", a verb which means "to flow or throw something". This can be a flowing of an arrow from an archers bow, or the flowing of a finger to point out a direction. Nouns are derived from the verb by making one or two changes to the verb root. you miss the entire point. these are New Testament scriptures. Jesus has already lived and fulfilled the law. keep them in the context that they should be.

The Wicked One, Lawless One, Man of sin is the one against JESUS, not the Torah.

aaahhhhhhhhhhh, therein lies our problem.

Jesus IS the torah, so if the man of sin is against Jesus, he is also by default against The Word.

And, fulfilled doesn't mean "end" it means He fulfilled it, he DID it, he did it completely and perfectly. And He taught US how to do it as well. So if we follow Him, we follow His loving instructions.
