By the way, Universal Studios is also doing "The walking dead" for their theme this year at halloween horror nights...already reserved my tickets. Sprung for the quickpasses too im so excited...

I knew shane was gunna get it soon. Too reckless, never got over the laurie thing, and his pscyhe progressively deteriorated episode after episode. It was a matter of time. I was suprised Rick didnt blast him with the trademark colt python.

Word up. The farm had advantages and disadvantages. It was away from the majority of the population which was good. But the same scenary that gave the survivors good cover also helped the zombies to hide and sneak up on them. It gave them a chance to rest a little, but the farm wasplagued with issues just like everywhere else.

Last season was very boring. I think it has been on a downhill fall since the end of season 1. There were a few moments in season 2 that were good, but they were off-put by so many sappy, stupid moments.

Plus, I absolutely HATE that guy's wife. I hate everything she stands for, what an absolutely disgusting human being. Then she has the NERVE to judge HIM? GIVE ME A BREAK!

Season 2 was slower for sure. But season 3 looks like its going to ramp up much faster and more intense. I dont like ricks wife either, she annoys me. Glenns new girlfriend (the farm chick) is pretty cool though, and a looker

the jail facility, do you think there will be an opportunity for the group to get hold of a chopper? Would be interesting to see if they are able to move greater distances. Also looking forward to seeing how pissed off the dude that lost his hand is...

It has also been quite a while since I have been spooked in this show, for a show about zombies that is pretty bad. I actually can't recall once that I have jumped in my seat watching it.

It is just slow moving zombies, slowly being dispatched, and slowly taking off the survivors one by one (why? they are so slow, you could just walk right by them -- as Barbara in the Night of the Living Dead remake says).

I think the biggest bonus for the jail is security, something that even the farm failed to provide. They finally have a chance to have a secure "home", which is Ricks main drive now that he knows lauries pregnant. I imagine there will be caches of weapons there (armory), food (kitchen) and medicine (most prisons have rudimentry hospitals built in). As the commercial for season 3 shows its not going to be easy, before they can live there peasefully, they have to evict the current tenants of all the zombies living in it.

Thats actually one of the things i like about the show. I enjoy following the story line much more then the scare factor. I think season 3 will likely be scarier, since they are going to be trudging through a dark, dingy prison with zombies popping out of every nook cranny and crevice.

By the way if you go on AMCs website, check out the "webisodes". It is a short six part series (each fils a couple minutes long) showing the origination of "hannah". She was the zombie who was dragging herself through the park in episode one that rick comes back to kill before leaving town.
