Should Jessie Venture Run 2016?

Jesse speaks a lot of common sense like Ron Paul. Unfortunately the global elite will drown him out just as they did Paul. They use the corporate media to twist and distort everything to fit their talking points/plan.

This is true... it would take a large scale disappointment and dissatisfaction of both parties to get a grass roots campaign for him like Ron Paul. I know the same people who supported Ron Paul would support Ventura.. so maybe it is not such a far fetched idea?

He's defiantly not on the left paradigm.

Depends on where he stands on the critical issues of the day 4 years from now (who knows what they will be) and also who else is running on the Libertarian, Green or Justice Party tickets. I'd be quite willing to give him consideration. I certainly do not agree with him on all the issues, but over 50%. Why would I consider him?

1) He's an atheist. We have too many crazy religious folks with political power fucking things up now as it is. Religion and Governance of the Country must be kept separate.

2) He's not on the take and beholden to Corporate Plutocrats in the same way that the current Obomney puppets are and their D & R successors will be. When he ran for Governor of Minnesota, he got by on $300k in campaign funds and his D & R opposition spent $12M and still lost.

3) He tells it like it is, and he means business; yet he is just a tad "crackers" as Piers Morgan called him in the interview tonight. I prefer to view "crackers" as he's able to think outside the box, does not stick to the status quo and isn't afraid to tell you about it.

4) He has served in the military, seen active duty, and he knows what war entails better than most who would run for President. He is in favor of getting the US military back home and out of most of its external occupations/bases. He recently stated that the US Military has been turned into 'contract killers for hire'. Unsaid, but understood to mean that they are contract killers for interests of the Corporate Plutocrats.

5) He has executive experience running a state as Governor.

Jesse Ventura supports a military draft so I would not vote for him.

OnTheIssues (in the Homeland Security section) says different:

Military is stronger if all-volunteer. (Jan 1999)

Against the draft; for including women except in combat. (Jan 1999)

Now these position statements are > 10 years old, so it is quite possible they may have changed over time. If you have current documentation to support your statement, please post a link.
