Lucky cousin!

Totally would have fit in here.

Samaszko was “anti-government,” Carson City’s Nevada Appeal reported, and a few conspiracy theory books were found in the home along with several guns.

Very sad, this man had a ton of gold, yet no one even knew he died

The 69-year-old Samaszko was found dead in his home in late June after neighbors called authorities. He had been dead of heart problems for at least a month, according to the coroner.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Yeah, well, sad, that's true. Then again, truth be told all our existences are a little sad anyway. There is always another better way to perceive things that always seem just a bit out of grasp. Our lot I guess.

Yeah...I bet you the government will find a way to keep it.
watching the "run up" to the elections and the "hopes and dreams" that are built as a result is like watching a dead mouse that is still able to make his exercise wheel go around because his nerves are still twitching that familiar motion...

Money is only good on this side of the river. When you cross over, you leave it all to people who will spend it like they won the lottery.

He would have done far better to have given his money to those truly in need. Now it's too late and fate is sealed.

Piece of shit media has no respect for the dead.. Dude did nothing wrong, he died in his home.. BUT, wait - he had $7mil in gold?? Why? WHo cares because that's how he saved his fucking money..

Now if some little old lady was dead in her house for a month and inside her home they found a 100 carat diamond, do you think the media would demonize her and feel the need to mention her guns or that she didn't go to the doctor??

I hate the media.. Pieces of shit.. Media, tell us about your bosses, the ones who rape all of humanity everyday - how much gold (stolen gold) do they have???

Re: $7 Million In Gold Bars Found In Reclusive Man’s Home Month After He Died
ok, but how did he amass 7 million in gold?
at 1500/ounce thats 4666.666_ ounces
$163,333.333_ at the 1967 rate
but by 1974 it was 4 times that and would have cost more than 3/4 million dollars
asuming he squirreled it away over time the ammount of money involved becomes more than anything but a high paying job could have bought, or he had a profitable business or farm.

google 'what was the price of gold in 1967' and you can get a pdf chart showing historical gold prices

so where did the old geezer come up with the bread?
He must have gotten a sizeable inheritance, had his house and land paid for, and/or had a really good job/scheme to be able to save that much beyond living expenses.

They are prepping you that a hoard of gold is evil, because they will want to keep it illegal.

There is no suggestion in this story that the old guy did anything evil, wrong or incorrect.

It's too bad that we the public all had to find out about this though. The parasites of the upper pyramid will suck away most or all of that wealth through all the standard methods.

It would have been so much better if his heirs split it up in secret,

but has anyone ever known heirs to just quietly agree on a settlement?

Yes.

Ok goldtards. Once you have your supplies, skills and knowledge in place to survive anything indefinitely, take that gold and go live life, for you do not know if/when you'll ever need that gold.

Gold may be real money. But, gold unused is no better than dollars stuffed in a dead man's mattress.

When they first "deregulated" gold off of it's $35/oz government controlled pricing virtually unlimited quantities could be bought in the sub $50/oz range, though it quickly took off with the inflation of the 70's peaking in the $800's as I recall before it went into it's multi year bear market.

My guess would be that he accumulated a good chunk of it back when it was in the $50/oz range, and then once it was down in the $200 range he bought more. His gold holding probably are around 4100 oz (@$1700/oz) so his entire investment could have been bought for as low as $200,000, but more likely around $600,000 - $750,000 give or take a little.

(my experience with true "gold bugs" is that they ALL bought early with EVERYTHING they had - old tales from the Depression having had a HUGE impact on their mindset, and then added to their "collection" when gold would take it's big dips. most have NEVER sold even an ounce!! even when it has been hard for them to put food on the table)
