Interesting...has any one else noticed the effects of these purely textual conversations happening on this forum...and how they don't seem to be so purely textual?
How about how these barely conscious beings walking around while texting. Running into things. Driving while texting. Running into things.
Yet...here we sit...only focused on how to properly construct our sentences to carry the weight of layers upon layers of ideas.
English is a fascinating language. Many different meanings to words...many different words with the same meanings.
Thus, sentence construction, phonetic rhythm, and the precise choosing of words carry more than just our ideas. They carry every possible interpretation of our ideas.
Just a rambling thought...much like the OP.

I say we huddle together for warmth, but everyone must keep their clothes on. Obviously. Yep. I do that all the time as well. I read back over it and ask myself how the hell did I come up with that!?
