You have 31 "minor" or lessor powers that go unnoticed and ignored, which, when compounded become super powers.

It can definitely cause psychological issues for some so I would not be thinking this is for everyone.

PS - anyone wondering, my first experience with leaving my body was 5 months after i started trying consistently after reading that book

From my understanding that tingling is your "Chi" or energy. Which is to believed to be the energy created as your spirit interacts with the living, causing friction or energy.

Although there are many names and theories for it, I myself first came into contact with "Chi" studying martial arts. However I could never really find anything to detailed until I looked toward Tantra, which explained it quite well and the basics of channeling your energy.


It's really easy, focus all of your body into a single point like your hand. Imagine all of your blood and energy flowing into that hand. You should begin to feel a tingling, throbbing or numbing sensation within a few moments. Granted there are several aspects to this, as it's also helping you to gain better control of your body. As you are basically telling your body to push blood into your hand, which could explain the pulsing, tingling sensations. However there is the energy side of it, which you should be able to distinguish over time.

Probably I'm gonna be ignored, but I suggest people don't jump too fast in attempt to make astral travels, if you don't know how to defend yourself in the astral dimension, because you bet your anus, that you WILL COME ACROSS astral thugs. Depending on how evolved your consciousness is, you might draw attention of entities that probably will attack you in your chakras.

Learn FIRST some mantra of defense, the "OM" will do the job. Just the syllable "OM", not the variations that include verses. Practice it until you can resonate it in your mind like a thunder. When you are able to do it, then you will know what to do if you come across astral thugs.

OP, does that book mentions anything about having a Pure Heart for doing stuff like this?
From my experience (and i will paste below my take upon this subject) the Heart Centre is essential for travelling with your etheric body (energetic double). Astral travel which is achieved in lucid dreaming state is more benign. But the experience where you are fully conscious and think you are awake, you hear that buzz, and then see you your physical body sleeping is made from the Etheric body.
The Silver Chord that connects your physical body (material part) with the etheric body (energetic part) starts from the Heart centre, which is of course the Seat of the Soul, which emanates Fire Energy and wards you from low entities, and which is also the locus from which you control your etheric body.

The risk is that if you try to force the split between the physical and etheric body, without being fully centered in the Heart, you will be unprotected when you'll meet unfriendly inhabitants of the invisible worlds. And this can lead to disastrous results. If your etheric double dies, your physical body will die also.

It is similar with forcedly opening of the pineal by using dmt or other psychedelics, and ending up being in possession of other entities from the astral level.

I do not know whether you have a Pure Heart/Soul. If you have then what happens to you is part of your Soul chosen path, and you are under Higher protection. For now you are just familiarizing your self with a level of reality that might become the law of the place soon. And the fact that you had those experience do to that book, does not mean that the Truth is in that book. It only means that this is part of your Soul path and this was the way the information came to you.

But in your enthusiasm do not recommend such a book as Truth for everybody, as a Secret Formula, because things are much more complex than this. And what worked for you, for others it might lead to insanity, possession or death. And i hope you do not want such a karma on your soul's book.

The truth lies always in One's Soul. Not in books, my friend.

thanks for sharing! my hands deceive me right now, they aren't much use as i had surgery on both arms for pronators syndrome. the pain makes it hard to do astral projection or meditating while awake. im guessing your technique would be hard for me too because of the pain that's constant in both arms

And now i will paste my own account of this subject. Maybe it is helpful to someone.

And as it's an ancient custom of the Sisters and Brothers of Heart to share stories of their spiritual search, i'd like to share one about the Astral Travels and OBE (out of body experiences).

First i encountered talk of these things when i started reading Castaneda back in 2003. At that time my consciousness was stuck at the level of the abstract mind. I wanted to understand all existence, but with the mind. The heart/intuition was submerged at a more subconscious level.

The description of the structure of the reality by don Juan was the most coherent i had read at that point from the abstract point of view. It did not present any contradictions and resonated deeply at some level.

The part about the Art of Dreaming made sense at the abstract level, and although i did not had a direct experience, I opened myself to that realm.

Although, I did not try any specific technique to achieve this, only directed my abstract intention toward that direction. The resistance of my inner self to any outside techniques is a a general approach throughout my spiritual search. I did not try meditation, yoga, prayer or any other kind of outward techniques, because a silent inner voice always told me that this was not essential, and all that one should do must come from the inside.

After that I started to have periods of intense dreams but not what could be technically called OBE. Around 5 years later I had the first OBE. Unexpectedly, during a dream, I became conscious of my body and i felt a magnetic sensation, starting from the feet, of my body going upwards. My rational mind was completely in shock, it could not believe that this is happening, and while i was around 30 centimeters above my body, I forcedly opened my eyes to see if it is really happening. The first image I saw was of a fractured reality, like pieces of a broken mirror. At that time i was not centered in the Heart.

Few years later, I started to identify myself with the Heart Centre. It was more or less a natural occurrence that i started feeling my energy centres as a kind of magnetic pulsation.

The next two OBE experiences were both triggered by the activation of the Heart centre.
The first one happened inside a dream in a moment when i saw a kind of snake coming from the mouth of the woman. Instinctively, my heart centre activated and the next thing was that i was again conscious of my energetic (etheric) body going upwards. This time, there was no fear because feeling the heart centre pulsating gave me an inner calm/courage. But again, as i was not seeing anything, my mind was obsessed with opening the eyes to confirm what i felt was happening. But trying to concentrate upon opening the eyes, made me lose my focus in the heart, from where i had a feeling of controlling my energetic body. In the end, my mind managed to comput a basic simulacre of reality, but at that point i knew that i could not control the flight anymore, and i felt that i was already going to far of my physical body, and i decided to wake up.

The last experience was a full one. I woke up in the middle of the night, and after i opened my eyes i closed them again for going back to sleep. With my eyes closed suddenly i herd a crystal clear sound of a spring and some birds singing and shortly afterwards i felt again my heart centre. It was so surreal that i opened my eyes. I was convinced that i was in a waking state, and what i saw was perfectly real.
But when i got out of bed, I understood that i was not in the waking state. I could not feel my body as usual, instead i felt a magnetic sensation in my feet, something close to drifting on ice. The moving was not made by the feet, but from the locus of the heart centre.
I went to the other room where a friend was sleeping, i flew a little, i woke him up, we had a little laugh about the situation. And then i went to a wall trying to test my 'powers'. I was convinced that i could get my hand through the wall, but to my surprise when i touched the wall it was the same sensation like in waking reality, perfectly solid.
At that moment i thought to myself something like: "of course it is solid if i think it is solid, if i want to move through it i have to imagine it is not solid"

And immediately after that thought i opened my eyes and i was in bed, awake this time. I took this experience to be some kind of preview, to know that it is possible. Also the fact that it was a fully-featured experience that i did not invoked, nor did i decided when to end it (with my ego consciousness that is) proved to my that this kind of stuff is controlled by the Higher-Self or Spirit.

After this i realized the following:
- all the books about astral travel and OBE that i browsed do not mention the essential factor for this kind of stuff - the Heart centre
- instead they sell you different 'proved' techniques that focus on outside tricks for the mind - listening special kinds of music/sounds, trying to visualize different stuff etc etc.
-maybe those techniques work for 'forcing' your etheric body outside your physical one. But what i know for sure is that if you are not really grounded in your Heart centre, you do not have any sort of protection from lower astral entities, and you are exposing yourself to those influences.
- and for one centered in the heart, this kind of experiences happen if they have to happen, and they are decided at a Higher level.
- it might be possible to reach a level when you can go by will in these realms. But I am not there. And also i know for sure, that without a pure heart, venturing in these realms is extremely risky.
- of course the way i felt the experiences might not be the only way for a one with pure heart. But i tend to believe that the locus of the heart centre is absolutely essential for one given to the Path with the Heart.

So, for those on the Path with a Heart, and i tell this from my Heart, what is written above is all there is to say about things like astral travel and OBE. Not books of hundreds pages explaining various external techniques of how to achieve this. They are of another Path. For the ones who stay in the Heart, if it has to happen it will happen when it will have to happen, and there is nothing more than that.

the silver cord does not exist, it is something peddled in theory by many books. i did not see it, the author did not see it, who the author learned from told him it did not exist. i believe in Jesus Christ, and it is his name that saved me from a "shadow" in this realm (before i read this book i had a experience with one of these beings) it was his name that i struggled to speak out but when it did come out (after about 4 minutes of being tortured) peace came over me and the shadow disappeared.. (i was fully conscious when i saw this entity, definitely was not a dream)

i do not believe you can simply have a pure heart as none of us have a pure heart no matter how hard we try. i serve the master of the universe and it is his name that saves.


THIS IS NOT EVIL as many Christians would say, it is simply seeing the other part of you that is just as real as the physical.

I realize that you had a beautiful experience, but, that's not the point and I never said that I didn't believe you.

I want to SEE you fly or perform abilities which are not subjective to the mind.

I have seen my own beautiful scapes of this world and others. Additionally, I also have perfect control and command over where I go and what I experience as well. So, that doesn't impress me.

I want to see something which is rock solid proof of a reason to BUY THIS BOOK. In other words...I want to see telekinesis, pyrokinesis, or any form of psychokinesis. If you can fly, then it should be easy to get on camera. If you can't do these things, then I see no reason to purchase a book merely to experience what I naturally do without a text book.

So...again, lets not get into astral travel because that is an experience that only YOU can experience when you are doing it.

I had those type of "dreams" without invoking anything within me. I just figured it's at a time between being awake & REN sleep.

Maybe my mind is open to this because I've read so much about it and I get these "dreams" but they're not "dreams"?

It's interesting and I plan to do some more research about it and actually try it....

Before you go to sleep....tell your 'Heart' you will be there in your dreams...you will be the controller of your dreams.....far fetched ....lol but it works

The truth is that 90% of the reasons why we are unable to do superhuman things is because we are too fucking lazy, stubborn and dependent on a fixed consensus reality.

I have literally done this hundreds of times.

A few times I have seen my smaller, "thicker" dark blue/light blue self (casper like.)

It was truly a sight to behold to really see "me."

Then I always wake up upon acknowledgement of "me." Frustrates me to no end but just that little inkling of personal knowledge is enough for me to continue on. :)

i like time traveling here instead...but i will stay sober next time and wont end up as a drunken 'robot' in Mayan lore,lol...next time,I'm thinking dino hunting at night with belladonna to dilate my eyes and then shoot the eyes out of the dino..even blind meat eaters can fight back after being roped and hog tied byr the group of wide eyes and then we cut a vein and it bleeds out...presto dino steaks for a week,we hunted the biggest to the smallest and most became extinct as a food source..and idiot scientists still say rocks from space killed them all,lol.

I can vouch for the authenticity of this.

It was a CIA psychologist that taught be how to astral project (mind you I didn't know what he did for a living at the time and he wasn't big on disclosure).

So my question is, why do you want to do something the CIA thinks is a great idea? Doesn't seem like the best promotional technique.
