When installed on conventional aircraft the systems can cause the weight of the entire plane to decrease by as much as 86%. That can result in vastly increased speeds, no sonic booms any longer (they were a function of mass moving thru the air.) and much increased flexibility in what kind of turns, climbing, etc., the planes can do. Later generations of these same systems have been fitted onto aircraft as the main drive propulsion systems. With the drive systems using anti-gravity there is said to be no torque on the plane itself. This could account for the 90 degree turns you sometimes see on UFO films. The field also protects the passengers inside the craft from feeling the effects of the earth's gravity during steep climbs or 90 degree "impossible" turns. There is currently talk of allowing airlines to outfit larger planes with the anti-grav systems that can reduce the weight of the plane and its passengers, thus achieving major fuel savings and allowing supersonic travel in existing craft. The one problem is that at SS speeds, the crafts must be above other commercial and private traffic. Because of the extreme speed, there isn't always time to go around an object or another plane in front of you or one crossing your flight path. I believe minimum altitude for these antigravity craft is 40,000 feet and modern airliners are not tightly enough pressurized to be able to maintain inner ear pressure at those altitudes. So the planes have to refitted with vastly better pressurization systems before they can use the antigravity systems with passengers on board and not have them all on oxygen, etc. |
