Your light Video brings up one of the biggest questions I have ever wondered. What happens when we observe everything, it will eventually happen. Double slit theory fully recordable on a grand scale and measured? You brought up one of the things I have tried to wrap my mind around forever. Last Edited by Chrit on 09/19/2012 12:01 AM I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |

The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

I can tweak anything to make it look cool or what it's suppose look like. if could demonstrate a real time camera where there is actually some algorithm that can come out with accurate pictures, then i'll be impressed. until then its just some graphic arts dude tweaking the data until it looks cool. |

Fundamentally it's no different than modern astrophotography; it's all about adding multiple frames of the same thing together to increase the signal to noise ratio and reconstruct what is really there. That doesn't mean it's fake or mere graphics art, I think that's a tad uncharitable. |

Cue Apple saying that's an infringement of a patent they had 5 years ago. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 23558099 United States 09/19/2012 09:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not really... It is not a 1,000,000,000,000 frame per second camera!!!! It's a clever algorithm of exposures done over and over and over with the light comming on and off over and over and over. After compiling the exposures they make what seems like a trillion frame per second exposure. It is ground breaking - to a degree. We can't implement this except in a very very controlled environment so good luck trying to observe other facets of light in the universe with this. |

Laser satellites to broadcast wide spectrum lasers at the oceans surface to image submarines. There will be no place to hide for a sub once this is weaponized. This is truly star wars technology. |
