Sungaze_At_Dawn User ID: 1458670 Canada 09/19/2012 08:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If this really escalates... how long will it be before all those factories are back over here in the U.S.? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17851333 LOL I think that would be hilarious if they were forced out of there and had to move back over here. Where else can they go at this point in time where they will be pretty much guaranteed they can do business without interruption? If China goes after Taiwan in a serious manner, then all bets are off, because the U.S. has pledged to defend them. And the Chinese have been making noise about Taiwan for a long time. I would like to see some corporations having to turn tail and run back "home" after they screwed us over the way they have, along with our government helping them the whole time. Well then there would be jobs for Americans instead of slave labor for Chinese. Get them all home, all over the world. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 18975381 Australia 09/19/2012 09:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well at least the Chinese are allowed to protest now, especially after the June Fourth 'Incident', so let them have a little fun. Maybe some hippy Chinese Dudes will make their own Banners instead of using the military issued ones with like 'human wights now-ah!' of maybe, 'fleedom of spleech Please mr Hu---'. Man that would make for amazing Kung-fu news clips around the world. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1760050 The 'protests' are encouraged by the Chinese government as the y're nationalistic rallies, not protests against the Chinese government. |

Even the ones who every one thinks is SOOOO bad ass. So the lesson here is this, if the people of the US are sick and tired of governments thumb on our throats. It would be easy to change that reality. 1 million people dedicated to change and it's party over!!! However, I guess most of us are content to just sit and complain!!! |

anonanon User ID: 4148733 United States 09/19/2012 10:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing like this happens in China without the government behind it. They can shut it down any time they decide to. We all know they are not above shooting their own citizens. We also know that no one in China would even know about the disputed islands if the government did not want them to because the press is so tightly controlled there. The Chinese have not forgotten, nor should they, the treatment they got from the Japanese prior to and during WWII. The islands probably are a part of Japan, especically if those few living on them are of Japanese origin. In any case, it is up to them to settle it and to settle it like grown-ups rather than some war-crazed fanatics. There are enough of those in the Middle East. |

I don't think Africa is exactly safe for them either. |

It's getting more and more iffy in parts of the world where they could have gone before. But, yes, they will try to continue paying slave wages so their profits are maximized. I imagine a few will have to move here, though. Or they will move to Iraq or Afghanistan and demand our military protect their factories that make useless plastic junk. (semi-joke there at the end). |

Yep we will see indeed. Read in another thread that there are 51 corporations and 49 countries in the worlds richest top100. We peoples must stop seeing corporations with national interests, this is not the case for a long time now for them, they know no borders. |
