I've been curious about the 3 Wise Men of the New Testament connection specific to astrotheology, beyond just the typical esoteric meanings.

Have you ever looked into this?

I am seeing Perseus, Auriga, and Orion as 3 wise men bearing gifts to the "manger" which is occupied by the 'cattle' of Taurus and Aries.

If you've never seen it on an illustrated star map, it shows well in Stellarium software with illustrations turned on.

Would love to hear your or Mikey's thoughts.

Very interesting discussion about soul / spirit - being put into words i have never found but had 'grasped' on some level the distinctions. Thanks guys for the eloquent clarifications :-)

Indeed one feels bound by something (soul) - yet the other is pure freedom ...essence...(spirit).. like a force which permeates everything...a force which deeply craves expression. It's the most wonderful link that is the only thing i know we truly ever are..beyond this mind, body, this life, this earth and beyond...indeed eternal before all creation , throughout and ever-lasting.

Who is this man that they look for? Moshiach, Mashiach...is the Hebrew term for Messiah. In the Jewish lands they did not believe that Jesus was the prophecied one, rather they look for a man to come, who has not yet come or showed himself. When he does appear, he is to be crowned to usher in a new world .
