Rain with 20,000,000 particles of radioactive iodine-131 per liter fell on US during post-Fukushima peak (VIDEO)
According to the presentation below by Simon Fraser University’s Kris Starosta, a rainwater sample measured in the Vancouver area had levels of radioactive iodine-131 at 10 becquerels/liter [Bq/l], which corresponds to 10^7 particles of I-131 per liter of water [10^7 = 10,000,000].

The post-Fukushima peak for I-131 in the U.S. appears to have been in the San Francisco Bay Area, where levels reached 19.85 Bq/l.

An I-131 level of 19.85 Bq/l detected in the Bay Area rain sample is equivalent to 19,850,000 particles of I-131 per liter.

Re: Rain with 20,000,000 particles of radioactive iodine-131 per liter fell on US during post-Fukushima peak (VIDEO)
Massive amounts of anthropogenic radionuclides were released from the nuclear reactors located in Fukushima (northeastern Japan) between 12 and 16 March 2011 following the earthquake and tsunami. Ground level air radioactivity was monitored around the globe immediately after the Fukushima accident. This global effort provided a unique opportunity to trace the surface air mass movement at different sites in the Northern Hemisphere.

[...]

The analysis of the air mass forward movements during 12th -16th March showed that the air mass was displaced eastward from the Fukushima area and bifurcated into a northern and a southern branch outside of Japan (Fig. 3). This eastward bifurcation of air masses is in agreement with the simulation of the potential dispersion of the radioactive cloud after the nuclear accident of Fukushima (Weather OnlineWebsite of United Kingdom, UK, 2012).

[...]

The unique global coverage of fallout radiocaesium released from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, particularly a fresh injection of 134Cs and 137Cs to the ground air provided a rare opportunity to observe a complete, uninterrupted revolution of the mid-latitude Surface Westerlies of the northern Hemisphere in late March 2011. This revolution took less than 21 days.

[...]

This work clearly demonstrates how little dissipation occurred during this time due to the nature of the rapid global air circulation system, and the Fukushima radioactive plume contaminated the entire Northern Hemisphere during a relatively short period of time.

This is why I've been telling everyone since 3.20.11 to stay out of the rain, if possible. Pets, too.
The contamination will continue to fall with rain and snow.
There is a reason it's called 'fallout'.

Sept 8th 2012, Eastern Ontario 11:45 am 4.63 micro-sieverts divided by 0.14 micro-sieverts {My normal average background} = 33.7 X background. A new record in screaming high rads for me. It had been raining steady here from about 6 am so I really wasn't expecting to catch anything like this. Since I began our rain and snow here {November 2011} the number have shown a steady increase.

I remember March time of last year, my nose was constantly plugged and stuffed with weird yellow-ish pollen looking substance. I thought it was massive amounts of pollen in Seattle that spring, but something makes me think otherwise. Never encountered that yellow powder stuff in the air before or since.

yep in far northern california we had a peculiar rain that left yellow powder residue everywhere within weeks of fuku- it stuck around on cars and trash cans for weeks- no one said a word. i only knew it was bad because of the timing and yellow substance after rain in cheronoblyl and japan- they said in japan it was 'pollen' lmfao- although it very much IS NOT FUNNY.

Yes, this is a fact. Everyone was trying to say it was pollen, but it didn't look like any pollen I've ever seen. It was everywhere here in the bay. It was thick and stuck to my cars etc. My lymph nodes were swollen for no apparent reason at that time also. I fear what all this may lead to, it was inescapable.

I just picked up a 82 year old lady and took her to a hospital appt, she said she has a nodule on her thyroid and was questioning me if I knew anything about this kind of thing. I did not say anything but it makes me wonder how many thyroid issues will come from this accident.

I grew peppers this year in the garden, also tomatos.

They all look like crap.. Then i went o the supermarket, and they look the exact same.

Like red peppers for instance, they all have brownish stress marks.. I dont know what o call them, but they dont look right.

But the tomato's have them also, as with my neighbors..

Im wodering if this is an effect from it..

Last 5 years, perfect, this year, horrible..

3 differant types of tomatos, all the same markings..

There hasn't been a peak yet. Just this summer 1000's of gallons of plutonium/mox fuel and 100's of uranium rods started venting into the open atmosphere and ocean, ground water. you havn't seen anything yet, all of what you are saying so far is bad, not nothing compared to the near future.

i still have traces of the powder on my trash can ridges and we have had torrential rains since the powdery rainfall and this was over a year ago. everyone i know has had the 'allergies from hell'or 'major sinus problems' or a bad 'virus' i read on facebook constantly that someone is very very sick. we all keep taking turns with the congestion, sneezing, the snot from hell- it makes you sick there is so much and it lasts for months on end at very odd times of the year. It's my turn to go through it now (as i have it)and my husband had it for like 3 months.
