Yes, you can opt out of medicare bullshit. Romney and smart people do it already.

Part A is free, B is not optional, and D is optional. About $100 is deducted for something then some more for Part D. But the kicker is other insurance won't pay until AFTER Medicare does. And we have to get most of her meds via mailorder from somthing called MedCo. My sister and I try to keep up and make sure everything gets filed correctly but it's daunting and a lot to deal with never having done so before... I see my Part D premium is going up around $40 next year, and some medications are being increased $50 out of pocket. I will be talking to Social Security, because right now, I pay out more being on this plan than if I was paying for all of it out of my pocket without it. It makes no sense, and I'm sure there's elderly out there that aren't able to do the numbers, so they've been getting screwed. Open Enrollment is next month, so good luck.
