- the background is a still photo, animated to look like a shaky hand on a camera.

- the pixelation is an effect called: chromatic aberration.

- the resolution of the crash & smoke, is higher than the rest of the video.

All point in the direction of a media arts student compositing a Maya animation over a photo in After Effects, without learning either program.

How do I know this? I have grown ass students from Ryerson & U of T, showing me this swill every week. They wonder why they don't get A's.....
