I finally find a person that describes what i go trough..with animals ..is like i know what they think and feel..somebody told me i am an empath.I want to help.Somehow the lost animals come to my door..I pick others to hurt to survive but some how I feel dont want to die alone..very difficult to explain to yourself ..imagine to others..so you recomend learning Reiki ( to the op), I want to help more.

hey seeker- have you ever read the work of Rudolph Steiner- It's heavy stuff- very complex- but it's the complete truth of the universe in my opinion!

This was one of my greatest and most difficult lessons I learned from my readings of Christ. I remember this very thought coming to me and providing me with a path to a healthier life and outlook. I built a foundation, but my focus was fleeting as the wind. My wings were not fully developed, my eyes were young, and the answers I had for spirituality did little to solve my lack of connection to myself. To be or not to be . . . knowing was only half the battle. I fought against myself and bitterly lost myself in order to gain myself. It started with simplicity, the plot thickened, and it ended in a simple silence and calm understanding.

Yes, it is a choice and I have chosen unity instead of disparity. I have chosen love instead of hate. I have chosen patience instead of anger. I have chosen life instead of death. I have taken the nails out and found hope and it is not lacking. I have not come with a sword, but a plow. I do not seek discord or strife, nor worship or even a pedestal. I have cast my ideals away and my voice does not thunder for attention, but groans for freedom. I am you and you are me. I am the still small voice and I hold the truth in neither one of my hands. The truth is in you as it is in me. I am the door and you are the key. The choice begins with a knock and ends with the knock of the heart beat.

I have found the way home.

The truth is the only enemy we have is the one we create. There is no limitation to forgiveness, but it is more than forgiveness. It is the focus we have, the discipline we have not to teach others but to be silent enough to listen.

I read some of his stuff perhaps 40 years ago. I do not remember much of it. But I do not remember thinking it was BS. Is there some place on line that one can read some of his stuff. Thanks for the suggestion. sk

PS In thinking about it, he did come highly recommended by someone I trusted at the time.

Somehow I am still trying to overcome my fear (of everything?!), but probably I should first accept the things bothering me? The more I enquire about my fears the more I realize that I dont really love myself. Which often leads to self-pittying. Somehow I "know" that this is not the right thing to do, but that doesn`t actually help me.

I am trying too hard to be myself and therefore I am not myself....

... and then when I observe all of these thoughts I am having, I realize that my mind is just noise, just having meaningless conversations with itself that don`t get me anywhere.... But not always do I have this insight...

Is the mind me?

Or is the voice that is asking this question the real me?

What is able to watch your thoughts, that presence is you, the watcher the witness. Than if you pay attention with it comes what has been called the still small voice, it a knowing without the intellectual activities involve in thinking. Best way I can explain it. What happens when we watch our thoughts. They seem to stop, but always ready to intrude one again into the silence. It is from this place as the observer, non invested in and without judgement, that we begin to be aware of and release the deep seated beliefs that hinder us. If we didn't make the decision that we are unloveable, or not good enough etc, we would not ever have those feelings. So if your having a particular feeling about yourself you at some point decided it was true, but in reality its a lie. sk

It would seem that creation of the ego is/was part of the plan. The ego it would seem can serve two function the antichrist or a vehicle through which spirit can express itself. It would seem over life times ones throws off the shackles of denial, because of the conditions that exist here. Not without purpose nor it some evil plot. To truly experience something other than Self must be created. Ego fits the bill. Yes there is a way of transforming and manifesting the Christ, becoming buddha. Not by killing the ego, but through its reintegration into a unified whole. Healing the things that created a separation in the first place. The biggy is the denial of Self in order to avoid pain. We for the most part do this at an early age and is the source for what we call grief. We transfer our ability to validate our selves, have our own information to others, becoming dependent on them. So upon their death we re-experience this feeling, loss of self. It can be a slow process of healing the painful decisions and beliefs that we have made and bought into that prevent the healing of the fractured self. But every journey begins with the first step. Many are held back due to a deep seated fear that when they really go deep withing what they will find is something which will not be to their liking. Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm not that old but I've been subjected to a lot of mental pain and suffering in my life and I'm not scared of what I would find out if I released my preconceived notions and fear based ideas.
I want to heal the things that created a separation in the first place.

I would like your input of how to (start) doing this and to tell me more about the keys to the kingdom of a life and a planet of plenty, harmony and love that you wrote about?

The place to start is by looking into the mirror that life affords us. We create our reality in terms of the people and events we create. So looking at your life what is it you would have to believe about yourself on a very deep level to have created what you have created in your life. On a deep level how do you really feel about yourself, what decisions did you make about you.

The place to start is by allowing those feeling that we are afraid might be true to begin to surface, embrace them make them your friends as they sit on top of the memories that hold the decisions and lies you hold about yourself. Try to stay in a neutral place as if you are watching a story about someone else's life. Be that presence, the watcher, the witness, try to just observe the feelings and thoughts from a neutral place. There are all kinds of question you can ask yourself, what kind of people do you judge the most, what is the worst thing you could find out about yourself. How did you parents make you feel. etc. sk

I have only had 2 OBE. The first one was the longest, up until the point I realized I had not gender? I am not male or female. I just am?

That realization snapped me right back to my body.

The 2nd one was short. I was only able to get a few feet from my body.

I have struggled to do this again. Any advice?
