As all created beings are the children of the Absolute, making their various ways back through evolution, the human rung of this ladder is far from being the highest.

Earth is our mother because the material that forms our bodies is loaned from Her. Because the nature that forms Her fruits gives us sustenance. Because every moment we draw breath, She provides it.
She would continue with this sacrifice, despite our relationship with her having become parasitic. However, we should change, for this will not forever be Her cross to bear.
