I wondered where my damn deluxe propane grill floated off to.

Camera zooms out to put the "cow" in frame at the exact second the "cow" goes up.

No other cows even flinch at the cow flying away.

What were they filming in the field in the first place? There was nothing to be filming unless it was the main cow in frame and in 1983 you had an tiny eye piece you had to look in to, not a big video screen hanging off the side of the camera, most likely the person never would have seen movement off to his right over the top of the giant camcorder on his right shoulder.


Last the auto focus looked way to good in my opinion for the time era. The legs on the floating “cow” stay in focus along with the cows on the ground as it pans up in the sky with a bright back light.


And it has been around a while, this post is from 2008.

Watch in slow motion starting at 30 seconds, the camera starts to pans to the right before the cow even perceptibility moves, clear giveaway.

@ the 47-48 second mark of the video, you can clearly see something dart across the middle of the screen in the background.

It does look like old footage which makes it even better!

Me personally? Yes, I would have filmed it. I have seen stranger things without loosing my grips. We dont even know the reason WHY he was filming - maybe he brought the cam because he had already SEEN things going on there, maybe he had experienced cattle mutilation etc? Saying that the video is fake simply because it exists is just the most low ludicrous form of "debunking" I have ever heard of.

Should have made it fuzzier, add more grain, convert to black & white, and say Armstrong shot it when he was a kid.

Was this shot on film or video? Because it looks like it has artifacts from both. FAKE.

What do you mean by "video" ? Digital? If so, the video here in youtube obviously is stored digitally, so any such "artifacts" could be poor compression, low conversion settings, youtube glitches etc. You need to look at the original tape to look for such.

However, it is possible to fake it by today's standards.

Verdict: Fake and gay

In 1983? I dont think that would be easily done. If so, a big powerful movie studio with hollywood resources must have faken it.

It IS possible - anything IS possible to fake. That does not mean everything is fake though. Nor that it would be an easy task - would have to be some experts doing it. I encourage everyone claiming it to be fake to reproduce it themselves and show me the results of how real looking "cow abduction" you can make. And to top it off, this is NOT of "todays standard", it is a very old clip, which would have made the faking even more complicated.
