it happens. on 9/15/11 there was a 7.3 in Fiji that was close to 600km deep. On 8/13/11, there was a 7.7 off the coast of Russia that was 600km deep as well

Interesting. Seems like most quakes happen between 1-150km. That's a lot of movement in the upper mantle.

When that very deep one off of Western Russia happened, it reverberated so hard across the globe that USGS listed both the quake in Russia and two quakes in the 5.0 range in Central and Northern CA.

The two in CA disappeared as soon as a geologist had a chance to check on them. But there were a couple of us who had seen them and were shocked to see them disappear. Two days later USGS 'explained' what had happened.bump

What would that feel like, being that deep. Would the effect be less or more.

The deepest earthquakes typically occur at plate boundaries where the Earth”s crust is being subducted into the Earth’s mantle. These occur as deep as 750 km (400 miles) below the surface.

hf
 Quoting: AwakeInTassie

They said Nibiru has already been diverted away from its orbit, so it will pass far far away from Earth. Nibiru is a Jupiter-class planet. However, Hagel said the main threat now comes from asteroids, as we pass the denser areas of the Galactic Plane's Plasma Cloud, as well as a Brown Dwarf Star, which will envelope Earth in its magnetic field sometime next month and come to a distance away from Earth sometime in mid-2013 that will cause its gravitational force to be enough to cause some massive earthquakes. However, they both told me that even long before that happens, we would have already experienced a 140 degree Pole Shift, due to Huge Galactic Superwaves to bathe Earth non-stop starting from late December 2012 to March 2013. They also said that the planet will complete its shift to 4th density by mid-2013, therefore the Brown Dwarf, which is a 3rd density star, won't be able to affect so much the newly-transformed 4th density Earth.
