In my OWN singles group, I met a single mother of three, and in subsequent conversation, found out she had NO place to have Thanksgiving dinner, and no food for it either. Took her home, so I knew where she lived. Went to supermaket next day, and bought the Turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, etc. Then delivered same by leaving them outside her apartment door, knocked and went away. There are many single mothers out there who suffer from shortages of food, clothing, etc. A good deed doesn't always go 'unpunished' !
