Sounds really fun. Lots of clandestine lakes in cally and in WA where I live.

$45 for a license?!?!?!?! It's only $19 in Ohio. Plus the local state run gun range is only $24 for the entire year.

Nice LMB. I went out yesterday and did a little fishing too, brought home a few blue catfish, released some others. I'll be doing saltwater this weekend, going for bluefish and striped bass.

Wow. Great pictures. I'm too scared to catch a catfish. I've heard their whiskers are very sharp?????

The whiskers are harmless, they're just highly sensitive taste buds. They have strong bone spines in their dorsal and pectoral fins, which they use as a defensive mechanism against being swallowed by predators. They're easy enough to avoid, just need to learn how to properly hold them.
