Re: Fireball Over UK & Ireland
From different places, there is reports that the Meteor was one large ball......It was apparently followed by 2 fighter jets and then it split up into several pieces....

Was this REALLY a meteor??

Why would the Meteor split up into several segments on it's own??

I think the reports of the Fighter Jets could be true..They probably tracked this thing coming in, decided to intercept and blow it up...

So, either it was a meteor, that was fairly large they decided to fire at it to break it up or it was a UFO...

Looking at various sites, this meteor was seen in Ireland, Scotland and England, it would of been easier to say all over the place...It must of been pretty large to be seen by all the Countries...

If it was seen so widely in built up artificially lot environments it must have been significantly large.

Probably only the size on an egg or something, but it was very bright, bright enough for me to see it through a window with half closed blinds whilst i had the TV on in the room.

Not quite as bright as a full moon, but not far off.

If a lot of people didnt see this id be surprised.

Im not sure how the mag system works, but the midday sun is like -25 right, and the moon is like - 12.

So this was going to be considered very bright considering it was moving rapidly?

Id imagine it spooked a few people.
