you might as well just bend over and kiss your ass good bye.

that meteor was traveling in a tangent to the globe.
which is to say it was traveling orbitally.

which means that it was most probably a piece of
space junk (it didn't seem like is was traveling
very fast. maybe 10,000 mph?)

people chase those things down and look for them for weeks, they are worth tens of thousands of dollars to collectors.

They are not as uncommon as you think, one came through the room of someone about a mile away from me a few years ago. They could probably have sold it for 70,000 dollars, it was pretty good sized, probably 5 lbs.

the re-entry happened during daylight hours,
but since the imagery was done with telescope magnification
there is no "light scattering" to make the sky blue, and
that's why it looks black.

Re: Fireball Over UK & Ireland
this (below) photo was done with a telescopic rig, which
means that someone had to know the thing was coming
in order to have all his equipment set up and
ready to grab the shot. this means it was almost
certainly scheduled space craft debris:

[link to pbs.twimg.com]

likewise, the below photo was also done with a telescopic rig,
and everything i said about the above photo applies to
this one below:

[link to pbs.twimg.com]

all of this gives a very strong indication that the event
was space junk that they know was coming in and they
we ready to track it.

Is it gettin' hot in here or is it just me, ladies? Get those men of yours in touch with their hearts and keep them away from their fighting, can you? It's almost over. I'm sure you can find some other way to amuse them. Make love, not war.

For the greater good.
