Have you done any real research about anything in your life?

They are a Fraternity or a brotherhood of like minded individuals. They are so secretive that they don't let anybody into their ranks but they continue to grow.

I know six Masons in my area alone. They all wear their Masonic Ring, they all come from different walks of life. One of them is Jewish, and a works in retail sales.

Want to know what goes on. Meet a Mason. Talk to them like a normal person. Be polite, be friendly. Most likely, if you are really honest and sincerely interested, you can probably get an invitation to join. Want some help along that path. Try consorting with the rotary club. Volunteer some of your time helping out in your community. It will give you a leg up in being recommended for membership.

I will give you some real insight as to where much negative press began regarding the Masons. In the early tp middle part of the 20th century, there were a number of wealthy, single men who were Masons. Upon their death, rather then leave their fortunes to their siblings or other family members, they chose instead to leave their fortunes to their local Masonic Lodges. This happenned with the Knight of Columbus, and other organizations. These constituted charitable donations, and kept the money out of Government hands, as well as heirs. Considering the income and estate taxes at the time, this was sometimes to the benefit of the Heirs, yet still illicited sour grapes from family members hoping to receive a financial windfall.

Here are some things to ponder before making your statements.

1. You must attend a College or University to become a member of most Fraternities or Sororoties. It is an exclusive membership meaning it excludes non-college educated individuals.

2. You must attend Yale to be considered for Skull and Bones. Therefore it is very exclusive. Skull and Bones originated over a dispute concerning Phi Beta Kappa awards.

3. Phi Beta Kappa was founded a William and Mary and was once accused with being a secret Masonic undertaking.

4. Being exclusive requires people to be excluded. Therefore, profession sports are exclusive, so are most country clubs that require large initiation fees. If you are not invited to join an exclusive organization, rather than point fingers at them, perhaps you need to fix those things in you that are deficient. I liken this to the old joke...The difference between a Slut and a bitch is that a Slut sleeps with everyone, a Bitch sleeps with everyone but you.
