Who here earns over $60,000 a year and what is your job?

I run my own business. I do okay. My wife is an RN. Our combined income is descent. I like what I do. I also run a small ranch. However, these days it's more a right off than a for-profit endeavor.

I am working on a advanced degree in engineering and polishing up my CNC skills. I also maintain my paramedic licence, however, I am considered 'inactive' since I only first respond as a volunteer for our local VFD.

I am a serial skill acquirer and a junkie for new trade skills. It's just me.

All that said, I rip my hair out if I had to go into a cubicle . No amount of cash could get me in that life, I turn tricks on the interstate first!

Make more than that and love my job too. Work with high voltage electricity

I am currently making 30 per hour, 45 with benefit package and only want 40 hrs.....there is such a thing as life. I pass up OT every chance I get, wife is a teacher and we're about 100k combined. If you can't live on that you've issues.

You think this is a joke? Either one would be advantageous along with the understanding of the systems that run these, you could be sitting on a gold mine.

The people who originally wrote the code and maintained it are slowly retiring and dieing. They are not training replacements and the systems are not being replaced.

I make about 45K and my wife brings in about 20K tax free. We both love our jobs. I am a service tech and backup driver for a local propane company and she takes care of an old lady and cleans 2 houses each week.

I have a buddy that drives a freight truck for UPS, he made 100K last year.
