Not a joke Yes u have to have a masters in child development but I can see and know why people say teachers are overpaid It is truly regurgitated reading from a lesson plan book plus babysitting Work hours are 9am-3pm & in that 1hr is naptime and 30min is lunch so it's like taking advantage of the taxpayers to the extreme Now we KNOW you're puttin' us on. Teachers are educators, baby sitters, nurses, psychologists, coaches, and many other things all wrapped up in one. They're on their feet all day, and they bring their work home with them and have to prepare for the next day's lesson. No real teacher of kids would claim they have it "easy". 9 to 3? Where do you teach? Try 7:30 or 8 to 3 or 4.
