I worked all the time AND I hated it.... Most lawyers are soul-sucking lying assholes (and those are the ones who are not crazy) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11693256 Im a plumber, work on commission. I dont think anyone here hates there job as much as i do. I work very long hrs, holidays and on call 2-3 nights a week.. Its also a very physical job! Hate it, thinking about going back to school and getting a nice office job for a change.. I love that check at the end of the week though! The more you make and the bigger the company you work brings an even bigger stress.. I hear you. I do high end appliance repair on commission. The harder you work, the more you make. I topped at 125k one year, but the stress is not worth it. I've lazed down to about 80k now that I'm older(54). I don't mind the work, but dealing with rich people is quite stressful. |

Guy goes to the meat market because he loves brains. Walks in and see's the prices-$1 a lb. for chicken brains-$2 a lb. for pork brains-$3 a lb. for beef brains-$100 a lb for lawyer brains. He looks up and yells at the butcher, "why so much for the lawyer brains"? Butcher says "you have no idea my friend, it takes 100's of dead lawyers to find a pound of brains". |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4055938 Are you ISO and NADCAP certified at your home shop? Just asking because I machine composite Boeing parts for the 787 by day and have my own machine shop also, but I think it would be a bitch to get all the certs to machine aerospace from a small home shop. I also do parts for defense contractors, gun parts and accessories at the home shop. Love the home shop (2400 sq ft shop) work and have cut back to part time at the aerospace gig, soon to be full time at home the way it has been going. |
