I don't like the Obama bunch as much as the next guy (same goes for Romney)...

But I've heard people say "riding the underground railroad" for years, even people who obviously knew... it wasn't an actual underground train, or railroad.

Like when, in Football, a player "Rides the Pine Pony"... they are neither riding a pine pony, nor is it actually a Pine Pony anyway. They're on the bench, nothing more. I imagine the Underground Railroad, was quite a ride, even if it's not in a legitimate sense of taking a "ride" on a "railroad"...

Now, if she mentioned something about people getting on an actual train... I'd be right there with ya...
