Wow, who would of thought you and I could have a decent conversation without exchanging harsh words !

~THE IRANIAN~, I completely agree with your list and you are right on so many points. But the problem is that the majority of Americans believe everything they hear, believe every politician, believe whatever the controlled mass media tells them (MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, etc).....If you were to talk to one of these Americans and express an idea that goes against with what they have been fed, YOU would be considered "crazy" or "stupid" or just shot down and they would just end the conversation.

It's sad, because I am an American, and just like how extremist/militant Muslims give all regular, practicing Muslims a bad name, these politicians and basically all of U.S government, give Americans a bad name...

Yes, there are many Americans who believe all the bullshit the news and media feed them....but there is a great population that don't...but the "powers that be" (not saying who) will never let the parties (democrat/republican) to be abolished...American wars on nations will never cease because our dollar depends on oil, is backed by oil, "how dare someone try to sell their oil with something other than USD"...

We as citizens, and I'm talking about citizens of all nations around the world, really have no say in what is going on; although they want you to believe that you do....Unless all of us rise in a massive uprising, sadly, we can't do anything...We just have to sit and watch and hope that that our governments can try to find peace, but sadly that is probably not going to happen.

Theres nothing wrong with their government. look at your own.

Your list has some merrit and I like a few of the ideas.
Now on the state of mind of most of the middle east.Abbolish the muslim faith in it's entirety as it is based only on a phsyco's perspective with zero mention of god but,instead only human idiots. Imprison for life or eliminate all involved in any killings because of religion,worldwide.

My own government is beyond contempt ! They are literally sucking the life out of our people, no argument from me there !

But I don't think even the OP who is an Iranian would agree that "Theres nothing wrong with their government" as you've said...

I take it point #2 includes dual citizens ...

I think Iran needs a strong government like the one it has to protect its interests.

There is a lot of problems regarding my government. But first we need to destroy the whole hate against the middle east and specially the muslims.

The U.S citizens should realize that Iran has been on harsh sanctions for more than 30 years, and yet again we have been under pressure from our own government. It's not that we want the U.S or Israel to come and attack and change our regime but to do this more logically. Lesser the sanctions and let use breathe first.

congress and representatives should NOT be in D.C. all the time. They should only be able to be in office for 4 years and a total of two terms (no lifetime politicians).

They should limit their health insurance and anything else the tax payer pays for.

The supreme court should NOT be a lifetime job till they croak. That is ridiculous.

Everyone in politics should only make an average wage, so probably about 80 k.

Iran needs to go back to the values and principles it had before 1979, before the radical Islamist regime got a grip on power !

Persia was a great country before the Islamist revolution, the current regime is a cancer for it's people and that is why a very large portion of Iranians oppose it !

I don't think it is possible without a lot more suffering in the US.

Even with all the bad, it is still an amazing place.

I think religion and the older generation are holding America back.

When the next generation takes power it will be a better place :-)

It's not for me to judge US policies on sanctions because there are broader implications that I perhaps don't understand but I think and I emphasize THINK, that IF your current government would cut off ties with Hamas and Hezbollah completely (basically stop financing terrorist groups) and Mr. AhmadineNUT would stop calling for the annihilation of Israel every couple of months...the sanctions would be eased, not taken off completely but it would allow you room to breathe !

Nice thread Iranian. There are plenty of people in the US that wholeheartedly agree with this. There are lots of people that don't agree with hour our government is being run. Props to you sir!

If the people of Iran woke up a bit earlier and expelled the current extremist regime MAYBE they could have avoided an attack by Israel/US...but now it's too late man !

But Iran is doing the exact opposite right now, they are transferring massive amounts of weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon which basically seals their fate !

If no other parties get involved (Russia and/or China) Iran is going to be on it's knees in a matter of weeks ! It's whole military would be defeated in a matter of days !
