Where is the water in that picture? You can live quite a while without food, but water is absolutely essential. Start storing water - it's easy. Empty bleach bottles, rinse one time and refill. Keeps forever. At Y2K I even went to laundry mats and took empty bleach bottles out of the trash. Friend asks me why I have so much bleach - why you lookin' in my closet, I say :) Label the bottles with a sharpie "WATER". Haha Empty two liters. Wash and rinse. Add 3 drops chlorine bleach and fill with tap water. Emergency shelter in place. Clean your tub. Use bleach. Rip down your shower curtain and lay it in the bottom of the tub and clean it. Fill the tub. Pull the shower curtain up and cover the water. You also have to make sure your drain is blocked. A flexible plastic lid over the drain will suction to the drain if there is a leak. Fill every sink pan and container you have. Buy water purification tablets. If your delivery sucks, it doesn't matter how right you are. |
