I started watching "Once Upon a Time" series tonight and they've got me from the first episode. This is a TV series if you haven't seen it. It's pretty darn good! It's a parallel reality theme.

Hmmm, I originally saw it on Netflix. Guess they took it down.

Survivors / British end of the world TV series. Really good.
The Event / Great Alien TV series
FlashForward / Great Sci-Fi series
Lunopolis / Really fun alien movie
Pontypool / Neat end of the world type movie
The Signal / Awsome movie with 3 different directors.
Night of the Comet / 1980's fun, well done movie.
Jericho / One of my favorites that ended without an end.

All the above are streaming on Netflix.
Can anyone else recommend anything like the above that I may have missed?

I recommend you watch the movie Rollover (1981) starring Jane Fonda, Kris Kristofferson and Hume Cronyn.

i haven't been much into TV or movies lately, that one really impressed me.

Jesus Henry Christ is very good. As a GLPer you will relate to him, I know I certainly did. Whoever wrote the movie knows what it's like to be surrounded by morons.

12 Monkeys w/ Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. Crazy movie from begining to end.

So I wound up watching Buckaroo Banzai ... will watch some of these next time...

If you like tv shows Breaking Bad and Workaholics is a must.

For movies The Devils Double, The Big Lebowski, Iron man

I like the BBC series:

Sherlock
...

I had netflix when it was first released, thinking it would be all the latest films etc. I was sadly disappointed.

The Colour of Magic, one of the best worst movies ever.

It’s acutely a rather famous cast.

I just found the coneheads lol, not watched it since I was a child.
