the reason for the visit was because of nuclear testing which was beginning (from civilian knowledge) around 1953, the anunnaki were concerned that nuclear testing would commence in space, a nuclear bomb was detonated in space in 1962, in response, russia detonated a bomb in space.. this was the real reason for the 'cuban missle crisis' that followed..
