Gravitational Wave Ripples hitting earth as we speak?
Here in this MOSC chart you can see yesterdays wave and now today's wave. Those long duration Cosmic Ray spikes are clear evidence that we are being hit by rippling Gravitational waves;

The first wave,on the 23rd, lasted about 14 hours reaching 16% increase. The second wave, on the 24th, lasted about 8 hours but was more intense. Reaching about an 18% increase above normal background readings.

My guess is that tomorrow there will be another one much greater in intensity. Each other incoming wave appears to be more intense than the last.

The initial contact, that is believed to only last seconds, occurred on the 22nd at about 11 am UTC, you can see the 20% and off the charts spike there in the chart.

That is the first wave scientist know of that hits in front of these gravitational waves. They only last seconds and are very intense. Then it is proceeded by the normal longer duration waves which we are seeing right now.

We can detect them using Neutron monitors. The only way to detect them is when they actually reach Ground Level. It's how these instruments measure the onset of Cosmic Rays.

No they haven't. If they have, then it is MAJOR news, and I would love to see the research.

Although gravitational radiation has not been directly detected, there is indirect evidence for its existence. For example, the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded for measurements of the Hulse-Taylor binary system which suggests gravitational waves are more than mathematical anomalies. Various gravitational wave detectors exist. However, they remain unsuccessful in detecting such phenomena.

No it's not. Read this statement;

"A cosmic ray approaching Earth first encounters Earth's magnetic field. The magnetic field repels some particles altogether. Those that get through are deflected by the magnetic field. Computers are used to track cosmic ray paths through Earth's magnetic field, and to determine how the starting direction ("asymptotic direction") is related to the impact point."

They can be point specific.

We have not been around long enough to really have measured a Gravitational Wave. It's new science and they use these Neutron Monitors to try and see if it is an onset of a gravitational wave.

Some scientist are expecting a Gravitational Wave from a distant galaxy explosion that occurred some time ago. They are expecting this wave to reach Earth some time between now and 2017.

If increase is more than 15% and long duration, it can kick start a new evolutionary period on earth. If it's intense enough it could fry all electrical circuits, if it's crazy intense then we would all die of radiation poisoning. Plus they have been know to induce seismic activity.

Not sure, Scientist believe gravitational Waves bring on the onset of Ice Ages cause they can bring about intense cloud cover due to their reaction with our atmosphere. Cloud cover than can block out the sun and bring on instant freeze eras.

Yes, the only thing here is that CME's and Flares actually protect us from these neutrons that come in from Gravitational waves. They protect us because they increase the strength of our magnetosphere. Mass extinctions are believed to have occurred from Gravitational Waves when our Sun is at Solar Minimum. Solar max protect us. We are in an prolong solar minimum now as we speak, and the new solar max is expected to come in at 65% less. So if this gravitational wave is intense and long lasting we could be in trouble.

When a big CME hit's earth Cosmic Ray levels drop dramatically. When our Sun is dormant Cosmic Rays increase drastically.

Your bolded statement above implies they are using Neutron Monitors TO TRY AND SEE IF THEY ARE GRAVITATIONAL WAVE...So it is not 100% proof...

So they don't know yet and it is not a fact...

You titling your thread as...

Gravitational Wave Ripples hitting earth as we speak.

is misleading and it makes out that YOU actually believe they are Gravitational Waves, when there is not 100% of this being the case...

Maybe it would of been better to put a question mark in your title so it implies that you are questioning rather than saying that it is Gravitational waves without 100% proof of them existing...

Just my 2cents....
