Yes, but I'd say it is when you realize everything is a crock of shit. It's called disillusionment. Why do people continue to perp the fraud and sell young people fairy tales? My midlife crisis was really brief. One week I thought, this is all a bunch of shit! And then I got on with life because I had already bought into the game and now I have to take care of my responsibilities. But I know the truth now.

You gotta have a balance. Plot your life so that you make the most money possible spending the least amount of time doing it. During your time off waste no minute.

It's a cliche but you gots to live life to the fullest. I realized at 16 life was a blink of an eye. I partied HARD but i still got up every morning and ran 5 miles and made money.

Now i'm 38 and i've done more than any 10 guys I know. I've made love to hundreds of beautiful women. I make more money than I can spend. I've traveled the world. I sail my yacht through the Caribbean every year. And I totally exhaust my wife. I keep all of our lives fast paced, unless it's time to chill with some Mai Tai and bong rips.

I'll never have a mid life crises because I live a constant bucket list. It's always a blast, always exciting, and always a laugh. You just gotta have the right perspective and the right attitude.

To all the young kids out there, plan plan plan. Don't be a loser. Research. Read. Find a way. Make some cash. And have fun. Forget the bitches. When you're doing a 100 mph they'll be dying to hang with you.

Work hard at things you love. If you don't love what you do than find something that you do love, or have always wanted to do. Normal is a t.v. program, its a good concept of the way we would like things to be but is all a lie. Doesn't mean you can't strive for it.
