Doesn't care about government other than the rule of God.
Will just cause a huge decline on the social status upon the Oligarchy-like system

Republicans have long since ceased to adhere to the values of a republic.

Jesus would despise modern politics altogether like any sensible person.

Jesus would probably say something like, "Render unto Republicans (or Democrats) the things that are Republican's (or Democrat's) and unto God the things that are God's."

This is what the Lord has commanded: Gather of it, every man of you, as much as he can eat; you shall take an omer apiece, according to the number of persons who each of you has in his tent. And the people of Israel did so; they gathered some more, some less. But when they measured it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; each gathered according to what he could eat (Ex. 16:16-18)

No, they shared with each other. No government organization was involved whatsoever, which in and of itself was a radical thing then... and now. These were matters of the heart, not matters of governmental coercion.

There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. There was a Levite, a native of Cyprus, Joseph, to whom the apostles gave the name Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”). He sold a field that belonged to him, then brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. (Acts 4:34-37)

Re: Who believes that Jesus would be a Republican?
Is it possible that Marx’s famous line “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” took its inspiration directly from the New Testament? Immediately following this second passage is a very interesting story about a couple, Ananias and Sapphira, who sold a piece of property but only gave the community a portion of the proceeds, keeping some of it for themselves. When Peter confronts them with this, they both fall down and die - leaving the impression (for many people) that they were struck dead.

Killing bourgeoisie land owners who fail to give all of their money to the community? That’s not merely communism, that’s Stalinism.

I do! It's even a book title I suggested years ago:
"Jesus was a Republican"

Why - Here's why:

In the week of his death, Mary Magdalen came to Jesus
to wash his feet with expensive balm.
The disciples rebuked her, pointing out that the money
for the balm could have been better spent on the poor.

Jesus replied that He himself would only be on earth a short time longer, but

"The poor you will always have with you."

And that is the truth. Jesus was not about social engineering, but about truth. There will always be poor people. There will always be needy.

Jesus is not some democrat trying to fix the world,
but the Messiah of the Lord.

There are far worse things than poverty.

Like evil.

Like denying God the father.

Jesus would know better than to allow himself to be forced into choosing between two different snakes. He was cornered by the snakes of his day often and asked about their politics. He always managed to put them in their place and avoid being cornered by their lies.
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

Jesus would be more concerned with the sinner than the sin. He would have cared more for the lawless than than the law. Those that were OVERLY concerned about the law were chastised. It's about heart and soul and faith. Not LAW and OBEDIENCE.

Jesus is actually referencing the book of Deuteronomy, "There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land."

I think it's fair to say that neither Deuteronomy nor Jesus were using the obvious truth that there will always be poor people as a commandment to not try to reduce poverty! I have extreme difficulty accepting the conservative argument that fighting poverty, including improving access to health care, better education and so on, must only be done on an individual, charitable basis, especially in our largely Judeo-Christian ethical framework.

Utter nonsense. The existance of the poor is a test, a test
of one's compassion and one's attachment to wealth. It says over and over in the New Testament that one should provide for the poor, at the expense of one's own wealth. "What you do to the least of them you do to me." Timothy 9-11 states it unequivacally, in summation, "love of money is the root of all evil." It's the merchants, kings, the wealthy, who
are ultimately damned in revelations. Though, being a communist, as defined by Marx, is to be an athiest, or hyper-materialist, which, like the hyper-materialism of capitalism, is contrary to the New Testament. Communism, Capitalism, two sides of the same coin.

Exactly right. And how the republitards have gotten away with an absolutely insane misinterpretation of the New Testament is hard to fathom, maybe republitards can't read? Maybe they should be honest and drop Jesus and start worshiping Ayn Rand.

He would favor voluntary communes, intentional communities, etc. Not the government forced socialism and communism. Jesus would definitely be a Libertarian since that is the only party that is against war and violence, and respects people's rights and freedoms.
