A Winter ecord breaker of all record breakers

. . . itis harder to heat the upstairs in this house, because thereis no heat up there. Since i heat the basement itwill be easier to heat one room (downstairs) than trying to get heat to go upstairs . . . for one reason.

I moved everything in that room, and expect to spend the Winter in there. I have no tv, but do have a computer, as you can see. The whole house will be heated to about 50; my one room will be whatever . . .

I too would like to know a general AO for the OP. I believe humans have some kind of intuition if they just listen.

At this time of the year it can get quite cold during a full moon, but the fact that itis already feeling like a full moon (at night), i suspect we best be ready for a real shocker when the moon does become full, and November, and i donot even want to think about the December fullmoon, not to dare mention January . . .

Late during Summer, I made arrangements, for some strange reason, to move out of my upstairs bedroom; into a warm, tight little room off the kitchen for the Winter . . . an animal, out of instinct, would do something like that . . . It was a terrible move with heavy stuff being moved in and out of rooms and up and down staires . . . i never did such a crazy thing in my life before. So i think iam making a prediction of the worse/coldest Winter wehave ever had (a record breaker of all record breakers).

Well I hope it makes it easier and warmer for you.If you have some candles that would help some.Just one candle in a room can make it feel warmer.Takes the chill off a bit and just seeing it makes you feel warmer.I keep a look out for all the discounted,really cheap ones throughout the year and buy them to burn in the cold months.Can always warm your hands with them too.

Nice hearing people talk up good wool. I should be looking for some good wool for fall and winter too.

I kept some odds and ends of pure cashmere in case the power goes out. Cashmere sweater dresses and oversize 2 piece outfits in strange colors, not for the wardrobe but to sleep in if the house is cold.

Was debating doing something similar myself. There are a couple rooms that could be shut off and it would only take a couple sticks of wood every couple hrs. to keep the smaller space toasty. Not sure if it would get claustrophobic before winter was over, or if it would be too warm for my dog to hang in the rooms with me, but have been mulling it over. Seems wasteful to heat a whole house when it's not needed, but the bigger space sure feels good. LOL.

The locusts (cicadas) began their "sounds" if you can call it that, in the last week of June this year. Never in my life have I heard them that early. It's always been the middle of July.

Its always 3 months from the time they start until frost and colder weather. Scattered frost was in my area last night.

I wonder how many people realize that wool has the same insulating value.. wet or dry.
Navy pea coats are wool and there is nothing as cold as wet cold..

This may sound ridiculous but my father who's been a woodsman all his life said he's never seen squirrels bury so many nuts and acorns directly below their nest. I guess they spread them out over a larger area in case an area gets found out. He said when they place them right below their nesting tree we're in for one hard winter. Take that for what you will.

Thats not how nibiru will work if thats what your feeling. Rotation stoppage first then restart. The north american continent will be warmer after a pole shift but dark until the dust settles and rainy and drizzle.Yes the weather temperature can drop like a rock. 4 years ago it was 10 degrees then -36 in a day. Storm and stayed like that for a week. We all lost power for 5 days before it came back. I have wood heat and gravity water so I was ok. Many out here have wood heat but pumps for water. There lines all froze. Always pays to be prepared for the worst. You never know what can happen.
